So, I was looking to clear out some old DVDs and found this company online that buys them. I thought, why not make some extra cash? They promised $146 for my 55 DVDs, and they said they'd pay up within two weeks. Sounded like a good deal, right? Well, it's been over five weeks now, and guess what? No money. Nada. I've been trying to contact them through emails and calls, but it's like they vanished into thin air. Not a single response. At this point, it's pretty clear they just took my DVDs and ran. I'm beyond frustrated and feel completely ripped off. It's not even about the money anymore, it's the principle. They took my stuff and didn't hold up their end of the bargain. So, if you're thinking about doing business with them, think again. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company like the plague. They've shown they can't be trusted.

DVD Empire: Worst Experience Ever!

Alright, so I gotta share my experience with DVD Empire, and lemme tell ya, it was awful! They should get a -5 stars, not even joking. I ordered something, paid for it, and guess what? They say they shipped it but couldn’t give me any proof or tracking number. How is that even possible? When I asked for the info, they told me I had to contact UPS myself. Like, seriously? Isn't that their job? This place feels like a total scam. Never gonna buy from them again, and you shouldn't either!

Defective DVDs and Poor Customer Service

I keep getting defective DVDs from this company, and it's been happening on and off for the past three years. This time, I decided to hold onto the bad disc until they sent me a replacement that actually worked, but they wouldn't go for it. I've been buying from them regularly and spending quite a bit, so I told them straight up that I wouldn't return the faulty disc and that I'd stop buying from them if this is how they treat their loyal customers. It's frustrating and disappointing.

Scammed by Fake DVD Shipping Promises

Living in Canada, I stumbled upon this website claiming they could ship a DVD to me in 6-8 days. Sounded perfect, right? So, on April 13, 2024, I placed an order for $30, thinking I'd have my DVD soon. But nope, turns out they didn't even have it in stock. No tracking number, nothing. I reached out for a refund, and Ivy from customer service told me to wait until June 11, 2024, to call back. Seriously? Such a scam. Total waste of time and money.

Six Weeks vs Three Days: Seriously?

So, I ordered this toy and waited almost a week for it to arrive. When it finally did, it was the wrong item! I reached out to customer service, and they told me my order was on back order because the warehouse was out of stock. They also mentioned the pandemic might delay things up to six weeks. Six weeks? That's crazy! Just for kicks, I ordered the same toy from Amazon the next day, and guess what? It showed up in just three days. Go figure!

You know, dealing with this company has been a nightmare. Seriously, they just ignore all my emails. I'm in the middle of trying to get a refund because they haven't delivered what I ordered, and there's just no response from them at all. I'm from the UK, and honestly, it's been a huge hassle. I'd tell anyone to stay far away from them.

Despite rating DVD Empire with 1 star, I feel they deserve even less. The customer service is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. They said they shipped my order, which I paid for, but they can’t show any proof or tracking number. They insist I must reach out to UPS myself. This company is a total rip-off. DO NOT shop with them! EVER!
