I subscribed to the mystery box for over a year, relishing the element of surprise despite being able to vote on preferences. The assortment, though occasionally not personally useful, served well as thoughtful gifts. The drawback was the steep shipping cost, making sustained subscriptions challenging without extra purchases. Regrettably, due to economic constraints and limited space, I had to discontinue the subscription. Nevertheless, the overall experience was enjoyable, marked by unique items and the thrill of uncovering surprises with each box. The well-packaged, beautiful prints and occasional delays in email responses were minor inconveniences against the excitement it brought.

Honestly, there isn't anything else like this. It's a community of anime fans who get a box of stuff from different shows each month. You can vote for what you want to see and have an idea of what will come or don't vote and be surprised. I recommend voting if you want to know what might come and have a say in what you'd like to see. Liz who runs this whole thing actually listens to what people have to say and tries to do her best for the community she's built.

Having been a member for about 1½ years, I can confidently affirm that this box is truly worthwhile. The assortment of goodies from various animes, accompanied by posters and figures, consistently adds value. Additionally, the option to include extras like a t-shirt and a larger figure enhances the overall experience. A solid investment for anime enthusiasts.

I really like Otaku Box since we can

I really like Otaku Box since we can vote on what's in our boxes. The cost is good and Liz always offers something fresh each month. Liz always has a nice choice of two scrolls and T-shirts to vote on along with the 1:9 size Figures, which are cool. I've got a few pals hooked on Otaku Box and they dig it.
