I ordered these 1" solid brass hinges, thinking they'd be sturdy for what I had in mind. But guess what? Flimsy city! Couldn't trust them for my intended use. And don't get me started on the email overload – way too many automated ones bombarding my inbox. Not the brass and communication combo I was hoping for, that's for sure.

Can you believe it's been almost a whole month and still no hinge in sight? Talk about a serious waiting game. Not the speediest delivery, and it's starting to feel like forever. Crossing my fingers they get their act together and finally send that hinge my way. The waiting struggle is real!

So, my front door was kind of leaning

So, my front door was kind of leaning to one side. We figured out that it was because the top hinge was falling apart. We thought it would be best to change all three hinges. And yeah, that fixed the issue. (Maybe I should've requested some credit for the original hinge being defective.)
