    I wish I could say

I wish I could say my experience with Guns.com was smooth, but it’s been quite a mess. My gun was mistakenly sent to the wrong city, and after it was returned, they took their time to resend it—like, five whole days! When I called them, they assured me it would be shipped out that day, but I just got a notification about the shipping label being printed. It's been three weeks since I ordered, and I still have no idea when I'll actually receive it. I even asked if they could ship it overnight, but they said they don’t do that, although FedEx confirmed it’s possible. Meanwhile, I’ve received two guns from other online vendors without a hitch. I reached out to the original seller, and they were great, so I’ll go direct next time.

    You know, dealing with Guns.Com

You know, dealing with Guns.Com was a real headache. I sold them a gun, clearly asking for the payment to go straight to my bank account. Gave them all the details and everything. When they finally told me the gun passed inspection, they said I'd get a Guns.Com credit instead. Talking to them felt pointless; they basically called me a liar about my payment preference and claimed they had no record of it. I asked to speak to a manager, but they wouldn’t even take my call. Tried negotiating, suggesting I could use the credit for another purchase if they added a bit more to cover their mistake, but they flat-out refused. Feels like a sneaky way to trap you into using their site. Definitely not doing business with them again.

    I had a frustrating experience

I had a frustrating experience with guns.com during their Thanksgiving sale. They advertised an item for $99 in their emails, but when I clicked the link, it was listed at $233. Confused, I checked the email again to make sure I wasn't outside the sale window. When I called customer service, they simply told me "too bad." On Black Friday, the website itself showed the item for $99, but it still came up as $233 in the cart. Called again and got the same response. They confirmed the item was in stock but refused to honor the advertised price. I even emailed them, but they lied, saying the item was sold out. They were just using misleading advertising to lure people in. I’m never buying from them again—felt totally cheated.

    Bought a "new" S&W 686

Bought a "new" S&W 686 Plus from guns.com, and it was a total disaster. This was my third purchase from them, and it’s safe to say it’ll be my last. My local FFL, who’s also a cop and firearms trainer, received it and immediately asked if I'd bought it used. The revolver had rust, heavy tarnishing, and baked-on carbon buildup, way beyond what you'd see from a few test rounds. There was even a torn sticker on the barrel, like someone tried to cover up damage. I sent pics to my gunsmith and was advised not to accept it. When I contacted guns.com, a young manager insisted it was new and basically said I didn’t know my stuff. I've been buying firearms longer than he’s been around. Avoid these guys at all costs.

    So, here's what happened with

So, here's what happened with my experience at guns.com. They started with a terrible offer for my item, way below what it was worth. I checked their site and saw they were selling similar stuff for double the amount. Frustrating, right? Then the paperwork marathon began. First, they wanted info I'd already provided. A few days later, they asked for my license, which they could have requested upfront. More delays. When I finally uploaded it, they claimed it was invalid and demanded a different background check, not even relevant to my state. After two weeks of this nonsense, I was done. Honestly, unless you're really desperate, avoid them. It’s a drawn-out, painful process that just isn’t worth the headache.

I wouldn't recommend buying from them

I recently ordered from guns.com and had a pretty disappointing experience. Right after placing my order, I found a much better deal elsewhere and called them to cancel just a few minutes later. But, apparently, they have this rule that cancellations aren't allowed because it's a "serialized item," and they claimed the fulfillment process had already started. When I pushed back, they offered to swap it with something else, which just didn't add up. If they can't cancel because it's serialized, how's replacing it any different? Honestly, their prices are way higher than other sites and their no-cancellation policy is super frustrating. Not impressed at all and wouldn't recommend buying from them.

    Was pretty disappointing

I recently bought a "Certified Used" Savage Axis 2 precision rifle, which was supposed to be in "Excellent" condition with only minor cosmetic flaws and barely used. When it arrived, the handguards were bent, which was pretty disappointing. I reached out to customer service that evening to report the issue, but didn’t hear back the next day. Sent a follow-up email and by the time they responded, the three-day inspection window had already passed. They told me it was too late to do anything. I ended up reporting it to the BBB. Honestly, I'm skeptical about their definition of "certified used" now. If this was "excellent," I dread to think what they consider "good" condition.

    I decided to sell my

I decided to sell my Melik Beretta clone earlier this year, complete with some nice upgrades like Wilson combat springs and a skeleton match hammer. I was upfront about the safety not decocking the hammer, but I hadn’t reached out for any warranty fixes. They offered me $150, which seemed fair since I figured it could sell for $150-200 with the mods. When they got it, though, they complained about an ejector pin issue and the safety being disabled, slashing the offer to just $50. My choices? Accept the lowball or pay shipping and local FFL fees to get it back. I reluctantly took the $50, feeling a bit ripped off. Lesson learned: won't be selling to them again.

    Frustrated

I recently got a Remington 870 competition that was supposed to be in near mint condition. When I opened the box, I noticed the rib was loose. Then I found the barrel was stuck to the receiver, making it impossible to clean or inspect the recoil device. I decided to call guns dot com to return it, thinking it was a mechanical issue. They disagreed and said it wasn't mechanical, refusing to refund my money. The rep told me to take it to a licensed gunsmith, which would cost me extra. I argued it wasn’t my problem since they sold me a defective gun. Frustrated, I contacted my credit card company and filed a sale by deception claim. Let's see how this turns out.

    Bought a firearm from Guns.com

Bought a firearm from Guns.com and it was a disaster. Paid for it, but it never arrived. Tried contacting them, only got a generic email about some $5,000 shipping insurance that I apparently "unchecked." No help from them, no reaching out to the seller or shipping company. Just kept blaming me for unchecking the box. I can see the tracking info showing the firearm sitting somewhere for a week, but they didn't care. No refund, no effort to resolve the issue. Seems like they're more interested in blaming customers than helping them. If you want a firearm, seriously, buy it somewhere else. This was a complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs!

    Was browsing online and found

Was browsing online and found what seemed like a great deal on a gun. The listing didn't mention anything about it being used, and the price was just a bit lower than a new one. After I bought it, the invoice didn't say anything about it being used either. When I got the gun, it looked beat up and jammed easily. Tried to call customer service and they were rude and unhelpful, quoting policy and refusing to accept returns. I even offered to pay a restocking fee but they wouldn’t budge. The FFL dealer warned me they wouldn’t accept it back. Totally feels like a scam. Will stick to buying from local dealers from now on. Avoid guns dot com at all costs!

    I’ve had two frustrating experiences

I’ve had two frustrating experiences with guns.com and won't be shopping there again. First time, I was misled by the rep and even the manager backed up the lies. They promised a gift card for the hassle but wanted the gun seller to cover it, which wasn't fair. After complaining, I finally got the gift card and bought a gun case that broke quickly. Now, I purchased a p365x, only to receive an email hours later saying it was already sold. To top it off, I had to pay $50 more for the same gun. They even sent a promo code that didn’t work because it was already used. I’ve had enough and switched to buds, where I feel more confident. Avoid guns.com!

Save yourself the trouble and avoid buying from Guns.com

I bought a Beretta 694 shotgun from Guns.com in April 2024, and it’s been a nightmare. They shipped it without the choke set, and after countless emails, they promised to send the missing parts. They kept asking for patience, but almost a year later, I still don’t have the chokes. Now, they’ve stopped responding to my emails altogether. It's so frustrating. The lack of response and resolution is unacceptable. You'd think a company selling high-end firearms would have better customer service. If they don’t resolve this soon, I’m seriously considering taking them to small claims court. Save yourself the trouble and avoid buying from Guns.com.

    I tried ordering a Ruger

I tried ordering a Ruger Mark IV Stainless from guns.com, thinking everything was smooth sailing. They told me the order was processing, but then came back saying they were out of stock and offered me a $30 coupon for next time. When I tried to use it on a blued Mk IV, I couldn't figure out where to apply the discount and ended up paying full price. I reached out immediately, hoping they'd adjust the cost, but they said it was too late. Frustrated, I tried canceling the order but got no response. When it finally arrived, the rear sights were off. Now I’m wondering, do they even check these things before shipping?

    Not cool, Guns.com, not cool.

I thought ordering from Guns.com would be smooth since they claim to have a California compliant section. I picked a gun from that list, assuming everything was good to go. But when it arrived at my FFL, they said it wasn't compliant at all. I reached out to Guns.com, and the "Rangemaster" just said the list is autogenerated, so now I’m stuck paying a shipping and a 15% restocking fee. It's frustrating that they sold me a non-compliant gun from their supposedly compliant list. It feels misleading, and I’m definitely looking into filing a complaint about their false advertising. Not cool, Guns.com, not cool.

    I'm super frustrated

I had a decent start with my first two orders; they came without a hitch. Then I ordered some accessories, and things went downhill. After waiting 17 days, nothing showed up. Tried calling and emailing, but it was like shouting into a void. One rep said it was out for delivery, but I never saw it. Another one told me I should've bought their package insurance—seriously? All this hassle over a $30 order! I even reached out to UPS, but they said the seller needs to file a claim. Guns.com isn't stepping up. If they sort this mess out, I'll gladly update my review, but right now, I'm super frustrated.

So, I thought selling my rifle to guns.com would be smooth. I sent in my rifle after accepting their initial offer, but then things got messy. Weeks later, they called me saying they sent an email (which I never got) and had dropped the offer because of a defect I'd already mentioned. They knew about it from the start! The rep agreed it was their mistake and said she'd try to fix it. Never heard back. Instead, I got an email with the reduced amount. Bought a revolver online thinking

Bought a revolver online thinking it had a round barrel, but it arrived with an octagonal one. Checked the SKU, turns out I got the right SKU, but not what I wanted. Paid top dollar for it. Ordering was smooth and fast, so no complaints there. Took it to the range, but then noticed the cylinder wasn't stopping right when I cocked the hammer. Figured it was a weak or broken spring, so took it apart at home. Found screws on the trigger and grip frames were loose, and one screw was even missing. Hard to believe this was supposed to be a new gun. Replaced the sear spring myself and fixed the issue.

    I tried ordering from this

I tried ordering from this site recently, but quickly changed my mind and wanted to cancel. Turns out, there's no way to cancel directly on their website, which was a bit frustrating. So, I shot an email to their customer service, hoping for some help. They replied saying that once the order is in fulfillment, there's no turning back—no cancellations. It felt like they were trapping me into the purchase, and now I'm stuck figuring out how to get a refund. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I doubt I'll be using this site again anytime soon. It's just not worth the hassle for me.

Bought a clip from Guns.com, picked the wrong one by mistake. Kept it in the box, unopened, thinking an easy exchange would fix it. Contacted customer service, but they wouldn’t let me swap it. Frustrating. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them before, like five or six guns and loads of accessories. This time, though, their service really let me down. No exchanges, no refunds, no credits. I had a terrible experience with this gun shop online. After I placed my order, I felt like they just didn't care anymore. When my gun arrived, it was all scratched up, which was really disappointing. Trying to return it was a nightmare; their customer service was unhelpful and rude. Bought ammo during the President's Day sale at Guns.com, where they promised a free box if you bought six. Turns out, there was a hidden trick to claim that free box. I didn’t know, so I missed out. I reached out to them, and they explained how I should’ve ordered, then pretty much said, “Tough luck.” I've spent a lot of money with them over the years, but this small issue has completely soured me. Feeling cheated over one box of ammo was the last straw. I won’t be buying from them again and I’ll make sure to share my experience with others. Not how you should treat loyal customers.

When I got my brand new 1911 Colt 45, I was really excited, but that quickly changed when I saw a scratch on the stainless steel barrel. It was like getting a new car and finding a scratch on the hood—just not what you expect. I reached out to guns.com, hoping they’d make it right, but they’ve been brushing me off for weeks. It's frustrating, feeling like they don’t care about fixing their mistake. I mean, when you buy something new, you expect it to be perfect, right? I hopped online to snag a new gun, found the perfect one, and everything seemed smooth. I picked my FFL and got a confirmation on May 7th. Then, just two days later, I get an email saying they ran out of stock and bumped the price up nearly $100. Seriously? I’d refreshed my screen before ordering to be sure the gun was in stock and the price was right. Everything checked out. What a sneaky move to pull. I can't believe how terrible my experience was with this company. Sold my Glock to them and it took more than 2 months just to get a shipping box, get my gun inspected, and finally receive a check. Customer service was a joke; non-existent really. I thought I'd try ordering a new rifle online, seemed like a straightforward thing, right? Well, turns out, not so much. They sent me an old rifle instead. I was like, "What?!" It took forever, like a whole month, just to get them to accept the return. I figured, okay, mistakes happen, I'll give it another shot and order again. I tried to buy a gun from this site where you bid and win, and the whole experience was a bit of a letdown. I thought I'd try selling my AR-10a supersass gen 2 on this website. A friend mentioned it, so I figured, why not? Anyway, I put in all the details and waited for their offer. When it finally came through, I was shocked. They offered me just $500! I mean, come on, I know my stuff and this rifle usually goes for five to six times that amount. It felt like they didn’t even take a proper look at what I was offering. I expected a fair deal, not something that left me feeling like I was being taken for a ride. So, I decided to give this website a try, and boy was that a mistake. I ordered a specific firearm, but they sent me something completely different! When I finally got through to their so-called customer service, they basically shrugged it off, saying "stuff happens."
