They blockd my account nd I've filled in the question form 5 times nd u get another form asking the same information. U can't call them nd explain it's very frustrating the money will end up getting returned nd I'll never use again

This is my First GoFundMe campaign and I had no clue what to expect. The support team were amazing answering the tiniest of questions and I felt amazingly comfortable and supported by their ongoing communications and timelines for resolve to my questions.

The company's automatic verification didn't accept my documents at first. I reached out for help, and Vincent from the help desk got in touch. He fixed the issue by having me use their secure file upload program. The whole thing got sorted out pretty fast.

I'm attempting to update my phone

I'm attempting to update my phone number for verification purposes, and it's becoming a frustrating experience. Despite submitting my driver's license multiple times, they consistently claim difficulty in reading it. If this issue persists, I'm considering discontinuing my GoFundMe account and withdrawing support from others using the platform. Additionally, their fee structure seems questionable, particularly when profiting from donations intended for non-profit organizations. Not a recommendation for anyone.

Beware of hidden tips on GoFundMe

Similar to others, I fell victim to the deceptive "tipping" feature on GoFundMe, now defaulting to 16%. The tip option, camouflaged beneath text and white space, is positioned at the page's bottom. Users must scroll down to unveil the default 16% tip, which can be adjusted. This design choice feels misleading, and I caution others to be vigilant about hidden fees when navigating the donation process on GoFundMe.
