Stay far far away from this company

The so-called Jacksonville FL office is operated out of a personal residence. After 2 weeks, 48 emails, numerous texts I cancelled. I cancelled because of consistently being given the run away from ****. The company in FL under the manager **** (yeah right) CAN NOT be trusted. I’m waiting on my 100% refund in what they emailed would be 5,6 7 working days well we will see.

From quote to POD, the process was tidy. They clarified accessorials up front and scheduled pickup within the window I gave. Tracking updates matched milestones, and the consignee confirmed liftgate service without surprises. No damages, paperwork accurate, and invoicing matched the rate con.

Kept freight moving

Booked an LTL pickup and they communicated ETA changes without me chasing. Paperwork was clean and the receiver signed off without a hiccup.

Good experience

I engaged with these guys to ship my car knowing that they are a broker and brokers all work the same way: they post your vehicle to an online board and drivers bid on the pick up. So, you do need to realize that they quote you a low price to get you engaged and then there is a high likelihood that price will go up since the brokers have little control over what price the driver will do the work for. That said, when it didn't work our for me, they did promptly process a refund of my deposit without giving me a hard time. I thought that was very professional.

Bait and switch.

Quoted me $475 for my transport then started to send me offers for carriers that could do it for $1200. Finally got somebody who could do it for $950 but had less than 24hr notice. When I asked what time the pick up was, he told me 2 to 3 PM. But told the transport company between 5 and 6pm or the following day! Which was ridiculous because the vehicle was not at my residence. It was out of state and I had to travel an hour and a half to get there and they knew that. They also knew my vehicle was not drivable. But they failed to tell the transport company. The communication between fairway seemed very courteous initially. But in terms of well communicated information that was the same between all parties. It was inaccurate. So overall my expertise was very poor! I didn’t realize it was a broker, which should be fine if they could’ve upheld the price they quoted me. So if their price seems too good to be true, it is!

Shipment of 2022 Corvette with ****

I shipped my 2022 Chevy Corvette in an enclosed trailer with **** from ****. Before booking the order, I had a long discussion with him and felt very pleased and relaxed with his communication. He provided great satisfaction and gave me an excellent overview of the industry and the process. Just two days after booking, my car was safely transported from Florida to Texas. **** is truly a gentleman. I had read negative reviews about some transport companies, but I chose to book with **** because he had none and I’m glad I did. Even though he represents the same industry, he stands out for being very professional, well-trained, and fully aware of what his clients need. I’m a regular shipper, and I know how rude some brokers can be, but **** was calm, polite, and soft-spoken throughout. I really appreciate his communication and work ethic. He honored his quoted price and delivered exactly as promised. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Just to be honest, try not to rely on the first price quotes for your car shipping. Fairway logistics team did a decent job finding me a driver at a fair price. Communication was very good at times. I give 5 stars because they were clear and open. Big thanks to the driver and Nick, they both did a great job. I will surely use this service agian.

SCAM!!

*SCAM ALERT* The positive reviews they have MUST be fake or from friends and family members! Firstly, they are NOT a transport Company they are BROKERS for a network of a 100 different transport companies! They take your $300 deposit and tell you the remaining balance will be paid upon car delivery. This is FALSE! The $300 is not a deposit it’s a brokers FEE! When they assign your car to a transporter, you have to pay the actual transporter also! so in reality, you’re paying TWICE! The guy who comes to get your car can’t speak English and arrives hours, sometimes days late! Then when he delivers your car, he’ll be days and hours late again! I shipped 3 Mercedes Benz’s from Chicago to Florida. All 3 arrived damages! One has a broken control arm and a flat tire. The other 2 have dings and scratches they didn’t have when I gave them my cars! Then they scam you a third time with that price! I went from paying a $300 deposit with a remaining balance of $725 to having to pay an extra $1100 which they then changed to $1200, then $1300! I was told 3 different prices. This is why it’s best to not use a broker! There will be money disputes! I contested the first $300 successfully but then I was told I can’t get my cars until I Zelle the owner back the $300 I got back from the contest! After this, the transporter changed his price from $1100 to $1300! They are a scam organization! Stay away!!!
