disgusting
by Nancy F

Alright, listen up folks. I just had the most frustrating experience with this company, Chewy. I bought a gift card for a friend and was promised it would be sent out shortly. But guess what? It wasn't. I waited and waited, and my friend still didn't receive it. So I did the responsible thing and messaged her to make sure everything was okay. Turns out, she never got the damn gift card. I checked all the details and they were correct, so I had to go through the hassle of having the company, eGifter, resend it. And you know what? They told me my friend had already claimed it. But she had not. It took almost a whole day for her to finally receive the gift card. Talk about a lack of efficiency and poor communication. I was so frustrated that I nearly gave this company a one-star rating, but since the gift card eventually arrived I'll give them a measly two stars.

They cancel ALL orders
by Beatrice

They cancel ALL orders, whether you use a major credit card (approved by your bank), PayPal, or any other form of payment; it doesn't make a difference. Even changing your email address, as suggested by their "Support" articles, doesn't resolve the issue. The ONLY positive aspect of this company is that someone responds to support requests, but this is only done via a webform. Unfortunately, their response is rather unhelpful, consisting of a simple "we can't do anything" with no real solutions. I concur with another reviewer's suspicion that this company might be a scam, potentially set up for cryptocurrency laundering or some other fraudulent activity, as they seem to reject legitimate purchases from their site.

straight up TERRIBLE
by Judy S

Let me just say, it was straight up TERRIBLE. My coworkers chipped in for a baby shower gift for me, and I ended up getting screwed over big time. I lost over $30 in dumb fees. Like seriously, what a rip off. And on top of that, the whole process was a hot mess. It was so hard to figure out and use, like they didn't even bother making it user-friendly.

by Naomi

Our group was able to donate to the gift individually without one person needing to collect money. The gift was delivered to the recipient on time and seemed to be easy for them to accept.

I really like what this company does. It would be nice if more folks from outside the US/CA could chip in too.
