The company has a good idea and app
by Josh

The company has a good idea and app, but the customer service isn't so good. Buyers can falsely say items are fake, and Depop always agrees with them, not letting you argue back. Selling on it isn't worth it until they fix this.

Been using Depop for a while, sold a bunch.
by Mrs G

Been using Depop for a while, sold a bunch. Then sales slowed, tried boosting items, but can't see what I've boosted. Emailed Depop, contacted them, still waiting. Disappointing.

I was quite worried about a scammer selling a fake
by Vandi N

I was quite worried about a scammer selling a fake Burberry belt on Depop. It was my first purchase there. I've been using eBay for over 10 years and know how to handle disputes. Tried to sort it out with the seller but no luck. Instead of disputing directly, I contacted Depop support due to the process being tricky. That was the only downside. But I was happy with how the support team handled it. Long story short, Depop refunded me fully and also covered return postage. What more can you ask for? Great and quick service from them. I've seen some bad reviews which worried me, but Depop's professionalism was impressive. They're doing their best. Tracking fraudsters is tough. eBay has similar issues, but I had PayPal to help. Let's give Depop a chance. I'm still using it and got a real Gucci belt after the fake Burberry one. Thanks, Depop, for sorting it out.

Initially, Depop was great
by Kellie M

Initially, Depop was great. I sold stuff all the time. But now, it's been months without a sale. Lots of likes but no buyers. It's frustrating. I tried Vinted and sold most of my stuff quickly. Thinking of closing my Depop account. It's just not worth it anymore.

This company isn't great for reselling stuff online.
by Anonymous

This company isn't great for reselling stuff online. Their customer support isn't good and they don't protect buyers very well. Also, sellers get paid right away, even before the buyer gets the item and checks it out. Fixing any problems takes a long time and is hard, plus they don't check if sellers are legit or not.

Initially, my experience with Depop was
by Anonymous

Initially, my experience with Depop was great; I consistently sold items and enjoyed the process. However, things have taken a downturn lately, and I haven't made any sales for months despite accumulating numerous likes. It's disappointing that my efforts to sell items on Depop have hit a roadblock. In contrast, since I joined Vinted, I've managed to sell most of my items within weeks. The stark contrast between the two platforms is making me contemplate closing my Depop account, as it seems like a futile investment of time.

The customer service experience was abysmal
by Tiana

The customer service experience was abysmal. I was inexplicably logged out of my account and encountered issues resetting my password due to non-receipt of the reset email. Consequently, I was unable to fulfill orders made through my account. This situation is highly frustrating and reflects poorly on the platform's support services.

Depop's fees are excessively high
by William

Depop's fees are excessively high! Despite selling an item for £25, I received only £12 after deductions. Customer support failed to address my concerns adequately. This experience was disappointing and highlights the need for clearer fee structures and better support.
