DON'T DO IT! We used Caddy once in June and they cancelled on us THE SAME DAY as our scheduled move. One mover, Trey, showed up and worked like a dozen men to help us out. We opted to try them again, thinking that was a fluke. BIG, HUGE, ENORMOUS MISTAKE!!!!!! I booked the appointment two weeks ahead, called THREE TIMES, including at lunch on the day of the move to verify everything was still a go, AND 3-1/2 HOURS AFTER they were supposed to be there, THEY CANCELLED. We drove hours from out of state, and told them we had to be unloaded that day due to the truck rental and their response was to tell us the appointment before us ran over so they were skipping us, and going to the appointment after us so they could make it there on time and we would have to wait until the next day. AND I have the phone call recorded as proof. That's the kind of business you run? Someone confirms an appointment at a specific time on a specific date, and you tell them to just wait until the next day? And this is 3-1/2 hours AFTER you're supposed to be here? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE LOSERS!!!!

Well after reading all the reviews I figured it couldn't be that bad. Well I was wrong. The only reason I gave 1 star was because the saleswoman Genie was helpful. So I read about the no show reviews and picked up the phone amd called. Genie was very nice and when I expressed my concerns with the no shows she assured me it was because of the time period it was booked. IE: same day or next day. I scheduled a week in advance and Genie assured me no problem. Guaranteed. Well fast forward 1 week. Morning of move I get a call from dispatch that they can't get anybody to show. Really? Are you kidding. So after yelling and screaming the woman calls me back and says they can get 1 guy around 430pm. Mind you they were scheduled to arrive at 10am. And they really only had to move 4pcs. The rest of POD was boxes and bags. I said how is 1 guy going to carry a couch and dressers. She said will there be anyone else to help? No kidding. Needless to say I made some calls and got help. And told her to stick it. So no they are not worth the aggrevation.

I received a text on the day of the move, just an hour before they were supposed to show up, informing me of a two-hour delay. This was quite inconvenient as I had already arranged the truck. Expressing my dissatisfaction, the representative assured me she would keep me updated. At 12:95, I reached out to inquire about the whereabouts of the movers. To my dismay, I was informed that, unfortunately, after consulting the dispatcher, they had no one available. When I pressed for details on when she spoke to the dispatcher, the promised updates had clearly fallen short. Despite my frustration and insistence on speaking to someone with answers, my request went unacknowledged. It appears that, as is often the case, calls are not escalated. With a truck on-site and a mandatory move-out deadline looming, there was a noticeable lack of proactive efforts to address my predicament. It leaves me questioning how this company manages to sustain its operations. If the service cannot be provided, empty assurances are not a satisfactory resolution.

STAY AWAY FROM CADDY MOVING

So, so bad. I hired them 4 days in advance to move some shelves I bought via an online auction with only a 2 hour removal window. I spoke directly with EJ & told him what I needed — 2 guys for an hour or two. Over the next four days I received numerous confirmation emails from them. The morning of the move, about 4-5 hours before we were to meet, I called again to confirm. Yep, no problem, see you at 2pm. Then, at 1:45pm, 15 minutes before they were to arrive, I got a text that then couldn’t find anyone to work the job so no one was coming to help — too bad, so sad, best of luck to me. They really left me in a jam & couldn’t have cared less. I wouldn’t hire Caddy to clean up trash on the side of the road, I certainly would not hire them for any kind of move, of anything that requires them to actually show up & do work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone, ever. Just STEER CLEAR OF CADDY & LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR RELIABLE MOVERS.

They have no movers - they just try and hire locals in that area when someone hires their company. Horrible concept which leads them to confirm an unload of a truck for a month and then cancel the day before! Then they claim it was an error on their part to have taken the job if the first place. That is not helpful when you have a moving truck to unload the next morning! When I asked for compensation since I knew it would be expensive and time consuming to scramble and get last minute help - I was literally ignored! Once I wrote honest reviews of the “company” Caddy Movers - they offered me $100 “to make it right and have me remove the review”. Not ethical. In reading the reviews here - I have serious suspicions about the “glowing reviews” on this web site. Do TONS of research before trusting your move to Caddy Moving.

Really good service for my move!

Really good service for my move! I searched for movers and got high quotes with 2 hour minimums. I just needed 5-6 heavy items moved about a mile. Not many steps and easy drop off. Most movers I found wouldn't take the small job or tried to charge extra. Not Caddy! I booked 1 hour, and we finished in less time. The movers arrived on time, were polite, and smart with the plan. *I was prepared, so maybe 1 hour isn't for everyone. Caddy had the best prices and model for me. I had my own truck but needed help with the big items. Caddy worked well for that, and I'd use them again for similar moves. Finally, I liked the customer service. I could reshedule my move easily and got updates on the arrival time.

I scheduled two movers for noon, with a 2-hour slot at $121. The worker mentioned I'd pay after the job via PayPal, which felt off. On the move day, I got a message saying, "Our movers are still tied up with a previous job and are running late. Can we shift your move to 3 PM?" I said yes, but at 2:47, another text came saying the movers were STILL not available and needed to be rescheduled for the next day. By then, I'd already rented my U-Haul expecting the movers by 3 PM. I had to call four times to finally get an employee who assured they'd come the next day. The entire process felt shady and the customer service was poor. I got the impression this company might be trying to scam me.

I set up for the movers to come days before. They showed up late because of "jobs running over" and then cancelled just after I picked up the rental truck and was heading to the site. They promised they could come three days later, first job of the day. I rented another truck and drove there, then 15 minutes later they texted that their movers were still working on a job (at 9:30am) and said they'd arrive by 1. By 11:30, they texted saying they were still trying to get the people for the move. UNBELIEVABLE I had to find new movers and what should have been done by 11am took until after 4pm. These movers are not dependable or trustworthy and should be avoided.

This company is not trustworthy and they endangered my family. When I called, they asked for my debit card information for a deposit, which I refused. They then sent a link claiming I only needed to pay $1.00. The person they sent to help was supposed to arrive at 5:30 but came at 6:00, without any tools, despite needing to assemble a TV stand. He left to get tools from his car but never returned. This company sent an unreliable stranger to my home and now won't answer calls. Avoid them at all costs!

I did a job for Caddy Moving on 7/29, and Daisy, their rep, said I'd get paid right after finishing. It's just $50 they owe me. I’ve left a bunch of voicemails, sent texts, and a couple of emails. All I’ve heard back is, "I've let the finance team know." Now it’s 7/30 at 9 pm, and I still haven’t been paid or heard back from them. Most of my texts and voicemails are still unanswered.

My experience with this company was terrible. They canceled just before the scheduled time, leaving me scrambling to find alternatives. Even after they promised to send someone, no one showed up. They're unprofessional and won't refund my money. Don't waste your money on them. I'll be filing a complaint with the authorities for withholding my deposit.

I hired 2 movers but only 1 came. Caddy couldn't find another so I ended up helping. Move not finished, still need to move more, hiring different company. The one mover who came did good alone. He was polite, respectful, did good job. 5 stars to him. Won't use Caddy again, couldn't move everything, caused issues.

There were some miscommunication with mover availability and I canceled and was charged without any work being performed. I received an apology from the owner and all chargers were dropped. The owner of this company has integrity and they will strive to correct any problem or mistakes that are made.

This company is a complete scam. I'd be advised to give any information as they steal identities and credit card information. Have yet to reach a single live representative. My money was stolen and now need Lifelock! Thanks Caddy Moving
