Absolutely appalling management
by Anonymous

Absolutely appalling management policy at the Burlington Hotel! I'm a frequent customer from Worthing and have been patronizing this establishment for months now. Generally, the staff are quite pleasant, and my friend and I usually have a good time. However, my recent experience left me astounded. I simply requested a refill of hot water for my pot of peppermint tea, which, mind you, already comes at an exorbitant price of around £3.75 for a minuscule pot. It's a basic expectation to receive water in any hotel, isn't it? But to my dismay, the duty manager displayed resistance and rudeness towards my request. It's evident that they're keen on maximizing profits from beverage sales, constantly pushing customers to buy more. Yet, they couldn't spare a bit of hot water for me, which I find utterly petty and disappointing. This incident marred what was supposed to be a pleasant afternoon for my friend and me, leaving me quite stressed after a challenging week.

We purchased a complete Burlington
by Hayley

We purchased a complete Burlington downstairs WC from Victoria Plum, and our overall experience with them was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, a part of the toilet broke within the initial months of use, and reaching out to Victoria Plum through emails proved to be a frustrating ordeal. After persistent attempts, when we finally received a response, they attempted to charge us a hefty £90 for the replacement part. In contrast, when we contacted Burlington directly regarding our unpleasant experience, they swiftly responded within a day. Remarkably, Burlington acknowledged the inconvenience we faced and promptly offered to send us the required part free of charge. This level of customer service from Burlington was noteworthy. Given this experience, we are inclined to bypass the intermediary and directly approach Burlington for any future purchases.

Absolutely horrendous customer service!
by Kenny K

Absolutely horrendous customer service! I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Debbie, the so-called manager at the Burlington store in Mentor, Ohio. To put it bluntly, she is incredibly unprofessional and should not be in a managerial role. I'm not the only one who has noticed her behavior; other customers have also voiced their complaints about her rudeness and lack of professionalism. I'm baffled as to how someone like her is still employed, let alone a manager! When I asked for the corporate number, she dismissively told me to "Google it" and then hung up on me. I've decided that I will never set foot in that store again, and I'll be calling corporate first thing on Monday at 9 am. This kind of service is simply unacceptable.
