I’ve had a good experience working with Barbier

I’ve had a good experience working with Barbier for the past year, arranging indigenous language interpreters for our health system. Finding qualified interpreters for these rare languages is always a challenge, but Barbier has been helpful in providing the ones we need, especially from Guatemala and Mexico. Recently, we had a great experience with Nahuatl, and in the past, they’ve helped us with K’iche’, Mam, Q’eqchi, Ixil, and others. The team, including Jorge Rodas and Diana Garcia, has been very supportive. They’ve always done their best to make sure interpreters are available when we need them, even in urgent situations or when we face some difficulties like incorrect language requests or specific patient needs. I look forward to seeing Barbier continue to grow and offer more language options in the future.

Working with Barbier over the past few years

Working with Barbier over the past few years was a really good experience! We were fortunate to have Savy and Virginia, our amazing Project Coordinators, who became like family to our Project Management team. They stood out not just for their abilities but also for how eager they were to pick up new things, the way they fit right in as if they’d been here forever, and their professionalism day after day. We are very thankfull to have had them on board with us!

Team Flash - Jorge, Diana and Kevin. You can guess from the name I gave them. They are always fast at replying to emails, which we really value because the schedule is often tight. The quality of the interpreters is great. Clients enjoy Edvin and Julio. They keep asking for them again. For the date of experience on this form, I just picked last Friday, but it should be EVERYDAY. AWSOME!

Barbier does an okay job looking after our staff

Barbier does an okay job looking after our staff during the testing process. We like the live (via computer) meetings better than the recorded ones we had with other suppliers.

Quick service, good assessors.

Quick service, good assessors. However, there seemed to be a problem when we asked them to review employees for internal translation work. They failed everyone, including the most qualified native speakers with high-level education.
