Interesting deception - their involvement

Interesting deception - their involvement in mediating a service is dubious. I've never engaged with any "palm reading" or "astrology" app anywhere, yet they somehow acquire my PayPal information through an undisclosed site. The connections to Nicosia and such hint at organized crime. The seemingly positive ratings appear artificially generated by bots. They've managed to pilfer over 100€ from me, despite having no subscription with them. Now, the challenge lies in figuring out how to thwart additional charges. It appears that PayPal itself has been compromised in this unsettling situation.

I tried the $1 reading, but got charged $71. When I asked for a refund, they said only 50% was possible. It took a threat to involve my bank for them to agree to a full refund. They also sneakily sign you up for a $40/month web subscription that's tricky to cancel within the app. I couldn't even check if the horoscopes were accurate because I was too busy dealing with getting scammed. Stick to magazine horoscopes and avoid downloading this app.

Well, at first, I made a lil donation to see a report from Nebula app. But, while doing so in the sunlight, I missed the lil print saying there'd be an auto subscription after 7 days trial. Got billed 39.00 EUR after those 7 days. Reached out to their support team for a refund. They responded fast and were ready to compromise. Appreciated that after a couple of quick email exchanges, they agreed to and quickly issued a full refund. Thanks to Harry and Scott of the customer support center especially.

I'm incredibly disappointed with the Nebula app. My attempt to purchase a $0.50 natal chart report turned into a financial nightmare. They overcharged me, hitting me with a $49.99 fee and an additional $14.99 for unwanted extras. It's frustrating and unfair. I urgently need assistance to rectify this situation and recover my money, especially considering the high impact on my currency.

Absolutely terrible! My encounter with this company has been an absolute nightmare. Numerous unauthorized charges, and despite my relentless emails, there's been no response. I never signed up for any subscription, just paid £1 through Apple Pay for a report, but they're consistently draining £23 weekly. The support team is completely unresponsive. I don't even know how they got my account details, so I have to leave very little money in this account, very annoying. I’ve noticed that for a while, amounts of 29.90 and 39.00 have been taken from my account via Apple Pay, listed as "Cycyprus Nicosia." I tried searching for what this could be for months. There was nothing in my Apple subscriptions, and neither Apple nor my bank had any information. After a lengthy search, I finally figured it out—and I’m really upset! I remember signing up for a quiz on Nebula where I could get a report for just 1 euro. However, it seems they decided it was okay to charge me for something I had no idea about. In total, I’ve lost 474.00 euros. I’m definitely not pleased with how this has been handled. Be cautious if you’re thinking of engaging with Nebula!

I gave you a rating of “fair” because I didn’t want to take the time I’m taking now to explain why I am very unsatisfied with my experience overall, as I am doing now. While I’m glad I got the refund I asked for, the process was tough to say the least. It took many support requests and several emails to get it - way too many in my opinion. It was quite hard and an overall bother. Also, I was wrongly charged in the first place, and for something I either did not buy or was tricked into purchasing, perhaps on purpose. Your Facebook ad is misleading and needs a good amount of improvement. I hope you make adjustments to your ad accordingly.

While we all know the terms for trial periods, most businesses have a simple cancellation process. Well, the company doesn't quite match up to what they boast in their ads. Also, their website is pretty shoddy. There's this button supposed to let you skip offers, but it's broken. So, you might end up getting charged for stuff you didn't want. Plus, there's no heads up or confirmation message to tell you if you accepted or declined the offer.
