The woman I spoke with today was completely unhelpful. My license plates got stolen, so I went to get replacements. They said I couldn’t get new plates because my wife wasn’t there, and since she’s on the insurance, they needed her signature. I asked if they could just email her the forms to sign (my other insurance, Allwest, does that) but she said no, she needed her to sign in person. I tried to explain in different ways, but she never explained why they couldn’t email the papers. After that, I told her I wanted to leave Allied Insurance Services and asked how to switch brokers. She had no clue and kept repeating that I needed my wife’s signature. She was untrained and rude. I’ve never had a good time dealing with this place. Like when my rates went up even though I drove clean for another year, I asked why and they just said, “Call ICBC,” and handed me a card. They don’t seem to know anything about what you ask. They are pointless, and I strongly suggest avoiding this company.
