50 floor did a horible job
by Anonymous

50 floor did a horible job with the flooring installation. They didn't fix problems as promissed in the warranty. Also, they didn't finish the job like we agreed. Someone called and said they would fix it quickly, but it's been months and still nothing. I've been trying to get this sorted for almost a year now, and the floor keeps getting worse. I won't be using 50 floor again, be carful!

Two years ago, I got hardwood
by Anonymous

Two years ago, I got hardwood floors installed in my house, which was quite expensive. Recently, we noticed some gaps appearing, so we contacted 50Floor to come and fix them as they assured us there would be no problem with adjustments. However, this was not the case! We were shocked to find out that we had to pay $150 for repairing a gap, and an additional $150 if they needed to open a box for the repair. They didn't leave us any spare materials for such situations. We were really disappointed with the lack of support, especially considering the hefty amount we had paid initially. To sum it up, be cautious, 50Floor doesn't live up to their advertising. We had plans to use them again for another project, but not anymore. My advice: look elsewhere for your flooring needs!

We opted to replace ceramic
by Billy Jacob

We opted to replace ceramic tile with laminate flooring. Unfortunately, the removal process wasn't adequately communicated to us. The workers moved furniture, broke up the tile, and then covered only half of the furniture while using a grinder to remove mastic, resulting in our entire house being covered in dust. Cleaning up the aftermath took my wife and me three strenuous days. While the new floors look great, the post-installation experience was a nightmare due to the extensive cleanup required. We were disappointed with this aspect, considering the price paid for the service.

Installation didn't begin as
by Carlos C

Installation didn't begin as scheduled; scheduling call seems crucial Some workers mishandled furniture by sliding/pushing it across the concrete Ramping works, but generates a lot of dust during concrete grinding Ensure installers clean floors before leaving Instruct installers not to dump concrete on your property Flooring appears lovely and of high quality Main flooring area is now one solid flooring, eliminating the carpet/tile division Satisfied with including stairs in the installation Flooring feels much better than standing on kitchen tile Don't let people rush you I appreciated the in-home review with Bart, who provided honest feedback about flooring choices based on our family and lifestyle. We opted for luxury laminate flooring for our kitchen, considering factors like regular cooking, an older incontinent dog, and an energetic young dog. Bart measured the space, and after I chose the flooring, he confirmed its availability. Our installation was scheduled to start on a Monday, covering close to 1800 sq ft with ramping, stairs, and transitions between tile and carpet. On Monday, with no one showing up, I called and discovered that our installation was never scheduled. We were then added to the schedule for Wednesday. During the installation, some workers mishandled furniture by dragging it across the floor. Dust became a concern due to the ramping, grinding, and sawing. Although the head installer aimed for a speedy finish, we preferred a thorough job. Dust was pervasive, and our furniture wasn't replaced or cleaned, contrary to the website's promises. Caulking was provided for touch-ups. The flooring itself looks excellent, with the main area now featuring a cohesive look. The stairs were a worthwhile addition, and the flooring feels much better than the previous kitchen tile. However, it's crucial not to rush the process and to communicate expectations clearly with the installers.

Experienced one of the worst
by Jenifer W

Experienced one of the worst customer services in my entire life with this company, specifically on November 16, 23. Despite making several service calls, not a single person followed up. The main criticism came when I called for service, and the representative took my information but denied service because I mentioned needing the project in December. The absurd part was when she questioned if I was the owner yet, suggesting that I couldn't request service until I owned the property. This ignorance and lack of customer orientation were embarrassing and left me questioning the management of this company.
