We just bought a bunch of switches, dimmers, and plug assemblies to try out before getting them for our whole house. We're really happy about it and can't wait to have them all over our house soon. Great variety of lights for any need, all at fair prices. Received updates on my order often and it arrived on time. I mis-measured, but returning and getting a new light was easy. Residence Supply's customer service is efficient and nice. Dealing with their staff was a pleasure. Good job!

Great customer service! They reply quickly and are always helpful through email. I only purchased dimmers, but I can't say they work very well with low-power LEDs, as some tend to flicker or not respond properly.

It's really difficult to find lighting that fits with an old house, but these fixtures got it right. My husband even mistook it for a vintage piece when he saw it set up.

I bought 5 lights from Residence Supply. 4 were fine, but the last one (Marianne Chandalier) was badly packed. It came broken in many spots. I emailed them. They offered to fix it, but I said no. I want a new one or my money back. No response yet...

This company is a rip-off.

This company is a rip-off. The products come straight from China. My package had Chinese writing all over it. Plus, some parts were missing when it arrived. The light also had a strange transformer, which made me start looking into it. They will charge you for restocking, you pay for shipping, and the products aren't even usable. Stay away from this company.

Dreadful return policy.

Dreadful return policy. 50% restocking fee for unopen product! Plus, shipping cost! Shameful and maddening. If you fancy something, find maker and buy from them. Much cheaper. I won't shop there again.

Sham business

Resident Supply rotary dimmers are NOT COMPATIBLE with LED lighting. Residence Supply is NOT a business based in Miami as their marketing implies. It is apparently Chinese operation and nothing more than a website for selling sham product with outdated technology. It appears they have 2-3 employees who use different names to create the impression of being a large company. BEWARE! I purchased rotary dimmers in different configurations, working with Joseph in the process and paid $2000+ for the product shipped. The dimmers it turns out only work with permanently installed incandescent lighting. In the USA LED is now standard. The dimmers DO NOT work with LED lighting, I have spent hours on the phone with Luis supposedly in tech support, Raph in customer service, and others, along with my electricians. I paid for the installation of the dimmers and then their removal. I was told they would ship a new LED compatible product 10 days ago and today was advised by email the product was back ordered until May! I phoned the 800 # and insisted on speaking with Raph. She answered my call after waiting for 45 minutes. I requested the return and full refund for the outdated product and am being stonewalled. I am willing to try their new LED compatible product if it is shipped in a reasonable time frame. The company has agreed to replace the product they shipped me with the new product if it actually works. They continue to stand behind “policy” saying any return would be outside of the two week return policy and returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee. I will update my review at the appropriate time.

Run unless you like dealing with customer service

I bought 7 lights from this company. Literally every one of them had an issue. The 5 pendants I ordered were supposed to come in gold with gold finish and gold cord. They were all black, with clear cords AND they didn't cover US junction boxes. Issue two, I ordered 3 pendants, they charged me for the longer cord I ordered but didn't initially send it so it went up in my new build when I was 3 hours away to immediately fix it. They finally sent longer cord but again, I'm clear. These pendants were very similar to some from West Elm but I thought the gold cord would make it look nicer which is why I chose these. The one sconce I ordered again didn't have the right size canopy and you could see the junction box around the perimeter. I took it down so the movers wouldn't break it and before putting it back up, figured I'd switch the canopy myself. The one they sent won't fit the light that needs to attach to it. I'm at my end. I cannot tell you how many emails have been sent, I am so discouraged I don't even want to open the gold pendant canopies and cord because I've lost all faith this will ever be resolved.

Residence Supply Poor Quality and Refund Dishonesty

I placed an order for lighting fixtures through Residence Supply during a renovation worth thousands of dollars. Some of the items came the wrong size and color, poor quality, wired for Europe, and or came months late. When I called customer service they promised me they would generate return labels and that I could send back items for replacement. Based on that promise I placed a reorder for thousands of more dollars. Residence Supply never sent return labels. They purposely stalled out their return window by delaying and convoluting communication. Then told me that they wouldn't accept my return. I still have thousands of dollars worth of incorrect light fixtures in my garage that they lied about being returnable. basically they robbed me. DO NOT ORDER FROM RESIDENCE SUPPLY. They are liars and thieves truly. You won't get what you ordered. And they won't let you return it not matter what they promise.

they make profit on restocking fees, not the actual products they sell

I recently made a purchase of a pendant light (Canyen Pendant) which looked sleek and modern with streamlined design where the connections and hardware seemed hidden away/integrated into the lamp. When i received the lamp the product looked nothing like in their promotional pictures. It was clunky, cheaply made with visible screws everywhere, product was misrepresented online. Whats worse, they charge 50% restocking fee in my case it was $161...and they also do not provide return postage, so another $35 out of my own pocket to send this cheap Chinese crap back to the seller. This company essentially is running a return scheme, where they misrepresent their products online and just wait for you to mail back the garbage they send you...this is how they meke their profit....BUYER BEWARE. (Order #1372923, cost of lamp $322)

Residence Supply and "Raph" are not reliable

Residence Supply and "Raph" are not reliable, plain and simple. The item I received looked very different from the photos on their website. They also claimed it would ship the same day, but that didn’t happen. They promise free expedited shipping but then come up with excuses and only send it the slowest way. By the time the package arrives, their return window has passed, and Raph suddenly needs to "check with another manager" for help. It’s just a delay tactic so you can’t get your money back. I sent my item back and waited weeks, but the refund never came. I had to get my credit card company involved. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere – this company is not worth your time or money. The product won't match what you see, and their customer service is no help at all.

Scam Company

I accidentally ordered two fixtures instead of one. I contacted Residence Supply customer service who told me the order was cancelled, so I reordered one fixture. Unfortunately I received the cancelled fixtures and when I went to return them, the handling fee was $170 deduction from my $350 order. I contacted Customer Service multiple times to resolve this issue, but they continue to email back the same return link with the high handling fee. Calling the company multiple times resulted in an escalation to product manager, and I have yet to hear back. Horrible experience and they had the chance to make this right multiple times. I don't think they care.

Agreed this company is sketchy…I would caution anyone considering a buy. I purchased a ceiling light that arrived in late April. Unfortunately I didn’t hire an electrician to install until this month. The only directions received were in Chinese and according to the master electrician hired it was missing parts. When I contacted the company for a refund and to arrange a return I saw that they also charged me $9.95 for “damage protection”, something I didn’t in fact order or receive. In looking up damage protection on their website it was packaging material! They refuse to refund because I’m past the 14 day return policy. This company is not legit!’

Stay far away from this horrific company

This is a horrific company scamming people. There is nothing handcrafted or customized. I've been completely ripped off, sent dollar store products with the bonus of mold on the packaging. The product was scratched, did not look at all as advertised. For the last week with three emails, 8 phone calls I cannot get anywhere. Raph keeps talking about the non-existing product manager. DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. The products are shipped from Hong Kong. NOT CORAL CABLES, FLORIDA. Nothing is BESPOKE.

I had a chandelier and faced

I had a chandelier and faced significant delays, receiving it a month later than promised. The product didn't match the advertised pictures. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction and returning it, obtaining a refund became an arduous process. Despite their assurance of crediting me, I've yet to receive the refund, with unhelpful responses and suggestions to contact my credit card company. The overall experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

Their website and design are quite appealing

Their website and design are quite appealing, but don't let that deceive you. Our Afzal Pendant Light took 2 weeks to arrive from China. The cables were already damaged, the screw joints were loose, and instead of the advertised glass, we received a piece of plastic. The LED tape inside was also coming off, making it practically unusable. It seems like it's only worth £10. Now, we're attempting to return it.

I bought a pendant light from this company and found a really good price. However, they canceled my order a few days later, claiming the item was out of stock, even though it was still being sold weeks later. I think they refunded me because I got the light for about 50% off with the discount code (Labourday). That same code did not work again after the refund unless I ordered two items.

Over 2 months and still no delivery...

It has taken 8 weeks and we have still yet to receive our light switches. They never sent shipping information or a tracking number, have claimed it was delivered and customer service was useless always promising a call back and never calling. We paid $450 for these fancy switches expecting to get good quality all around and this has been a terrible experience so far.

I'm an interior designer & would NOT recommend switches from Residence Supply. The estimated ship dates on the page are inaccurate as these are poorly made in China. You should expect to receive the switches in 16-23 business days as they have to ship overseas. Save your money & source switches from a quality manufacturer like Forbes & Lomax or Buster + Punch!

Scam Business

Poor quality products. This company's business model is to charge a high restocking fee (50%) and makes the consumer responsible for the shipping costs back to them. By then you'll only get a return amount of about 20% of what you paid. Do Not Order anything from them. Bad business practices.
