Our electric double garage door had been

Our electric double garage door had been making quite a lot of noise and was not working reliably. Michael from Elite took some time to look over the motor, door, boom, and framework. It quickly became clear that the old Wessex Lift Boy was pretty much at the end of its life, likely around 30-40 years old. Although a new door and hardware seemed needed, the positive news from Michael was that the door and framework were still in decent condition. After he serviced it, checked the tension springs, lubricated all moving parts, and adjusted things for better balance, it worked much better. The motor and drive boom were switched out for a Hormann unit along with a few remote controls. The Hormann motor and hardware run very quietly and can also be controlled remotely using a Bluetooth app on a phone. Now, it’s a smooth system that is easy to use. I can say that Michael from Elite Garage Doors is very helpful, informative, and effective in finding a solution. 10/10.

Michael from Elite Garage Doors is great! If you need garage door repairs, I wouldn’t suggest looking anywhere else. He came to us a few months ago when our old door wouldn’t close, and we thought we would have to replace it. But he fixed it perfectly, almost like it was brand new! Then, I accidentally broke it (🙄) and couldn’t get it shut. I called Michael again, and he guided us through the steps to fix it. He’s really helpful, and we can't recommend him enough. Other companies would have insisted on a new door long ago! Thanks a lot, Michael!

Great service, the door broke, so I called Michael. He was very nice and managed to schedule a visit in just a few days. He arrived on time, had everything needed, and repaired the door in less than an hour. Very polite throughout. I’m satisfied with the work and will definitely contact Michael again to fix the other door soon.
