After looking into solar and talking to two

After looking into solar and talking to two different agencies about the install, I’ve become more sure that this is not the right choice for us. It seems like more of a money maker for the utility companies, not something that’s easy or helpful for customers to deal with.

I have solar panels installed at my home. I was hoping to get some of the cost back for the installation. I realize now that entering my details won't help with this, so please ignore it.

I haven't made much progress with this solar plan. A salesperson once mentioned that I wouldn't gain much from getting solar panels to cut down on my electric bill.

So, it looks like they just passed my number

So, it looks like they just passed my number around for folks to ring me up... I joined for quotes. At the moment, I'm tied up and not keen on chatting unless there's a quote worth chatting about. Yet, I handed over all the details for quotes and got zilch. This feels like a classic bait and switch and peddling of info in my eyes.

    I find myself repeatedly inputting

I find myself repeatedly inputting my details and eagerly awaiting a response, yet to my dismay, no phone call or even a simple acknowledgment arrives. Instead, all I seem to get is another email, almost robotic in nature, urging me to re-enter all the information as if my previous efforts were nonexistent. The lack of meaningful communication or recognition leaves much to be desired in terms of customer service.

I don’t understand why you keep asking

I don’t understand why you keep asking for my personal details when all I’ve given is the address. There’s no need for phone calls, email will do. Seems like all you're doing is passing my info to a salesperson. You promised a quote, but that never came. Feels like a scam.

I appreciate how the company gets straight to the point. As someone who enjoys exploring new topics beyond the usual interests like games, politics, and ads, I find their approach refreshing. Being a curious individual, I'm always eager to learn and grow. Born and raised in Portugal, I've spent a large part of my life in the USA, where I feel at home. After 60 years and 50 years of hard work, I've had my share of challenges but also proud moments, like raising a great son who served as a combat veteran.

I found the options provided by the Texas government

I found the options provided by the Texas government to cut down high electricity bills quite interesting. It seemed like a good move, especially with the summer heat and constant air conditioning, and with winter approaching. The idea looks promising, and it feels like a nice gesture from the Texas government. I just hope it isn't another empty promise that will end up being a waste of time. I’m staying optimistic and looking forward to seeing if it really delivers on its promise.

I tried explaing this already but I’m done now. If you all really knew what it’s like over here, you would see how much stress we’ve been dealing with for too long. It's not easy, and people act like we don’t notice the things happening around us. They ask the same question, over and over, like they don’t trust the answer we gave. For me, it’s whatever, but I hope you can see that things are fine on my side. There’s nothing to be concered about, really. Thanks.

Our power bills are way too high for the amount of energy we actually use. We always turn off lights and unplug appliances when not in use. We also use gas for heating, so it's hard to understand why the bill is so large! Really need some assistance! 🙏

My electric bill is just too high. It was nearly 500, and I can't afford that. As a widow on SS#, I really need something cheaper. I already keep the central heat set at 65 and use small plug-in heaters during the day. I'm not sure what else I can do.

I don’t think it’s fair to ask for my phone number before I even know if I qualify.

I don’t think it’s fair to ask for my phone number before I even know if I qualify. Also, there are hardly any solar companies willing to install a system in a trailer park, and that’s where they should be helping most. People who live in trailer parks often struggle financially, and they have kids who could benefit from this assistance. I’m always told the excuse that it’s rented land, but I own my home and solar panels can go on the roof. My electricity bill is close to $500 every month, and I only make $348 every two weeks. These are the types of people who should be helped more. Also, giving landlords big tax breaks for adding a panel or two in the yards would help too.

So far it's been fine, but I still have doubts. Every time I try this, I get a call from someone who tells me how much I'll need to pay from my own pocket and tries to convince me to apply for a construction loan. I really don't want any more debt. I'm a 75-year-old single retired woman living on just social security and my part-time job.
