I bought women's boots on Sunday and got them on Tuesday afternoon. Today it’s minus 16, feels even colder. I went for my 3 km walk this morning and my toes felt so warm, like they were still in bed. The boots are comfy to walk in. I really like them.

I bought a pair of Moab 2 to replace

I bought a pair of Moab 2 to replace my old ones that had been great. However, the new pair wasn’t as good and gave me a painful heel blister on the first wear! It seems like they’ve changed how they’re made, but you only find out once you try them on. I left a review on their website, but they never posted it! Seems like Merrell doesn’t want to hear any bad feedback…

Horrible experience, and I won't buy from this company again. The system messed up my order for one £80 pair of shoes, charging me £160 for two. I called right away and asked to cancel it, but the order wasn’t cancelled. Two pairs of shoes arrived, and I sent them back, but it was hard because of system issues with the order numbers. Customer service is unclear and seems lost. Weeks have passed, and it took about 3 weeks to get a return confirmation—actually, I got 3 confirmations that made no sense. I still haven’t received my refund despite many follow-ups. Totally unacceptable.

I bought shoes and when they arrived

I bought shoes and when they arrived, the package was taken from my porch. I called Merell's support and they couldn't help. They told me to call FedEx, who sent me back to Merell. So I called again and they said to file a homeowner's insurance claim, which costs more than the shoes. I complained to the BBB and won't buy Merell again. My wife had an Amazon package stolen and their support reprocessed her order for free and shipped a new package right away. Merell should've done the same, but didn't. I suggest avoiding them. Other companies have better products and service.

I had to share my experience with Merrell. Last time, I wasn't too happy and let them know, but this time, wow. Their shoe sizing options are just amazing. So many brands out there, but finding half sizes? Not easy. Merrell totally nailed it. It's such a relief to get the perfect fit without any hassle. I really appreciate how they cater to all the in-between sizes. Makes a huge difference for comfort. Definitely earned a five-star from me this time. If you need that perfect shoe fit, Merrell is where it's at.

Bought Moab 2 mid-rise women's walking boots a few months ago, but they started leaking pretty quick. Reached out to Merrell's customer service, and they were awesome. They listened and offered me an upgraded replacement for free, which was super cool. The new boots arrived without a hitch, and I didn't have to pay for shipping either. Can't wait to hit the trails again and not worry about wet feet. Definitely happy with how things turned out.

    It's a shame

Ordered without a hitch, but that's where the smooth sailing ended. They promised a quick delivery, just a few days, but it dragged on for over a week. No heads up or anything. Trying to get a hold of customer service? Felt like solving a puzzle with missing pieces. When the package finally arrived, the product was just okay, nothing to write home about. Expected better, honestly. This whole experience kinda leaves a sour taste, makes me think twice about ordering from them again. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to it. Maybe they'll get their act together soon, but till then, I'm not so sure about another purchase.

I bought these shoes for walking my dog, usually around 5 miles a week on pavement and grass. At first, I thought they were amazing and figured I'd stick with this brand forever. But, after a year of light use, they started falling apart. The uppers look dry and are cracking and flaking off. I really expected more from what I thought was a reliable brand. I was hoping they would be a good alternative to proper hiking boots, but it turns out they just don't hold up. Disappointing, especially since I had high hopes. Not sure if I'll go with this brand again.

    I recently ordered hiking boots

I recently ordered hiking boots from an online store, and it was a nightmare. I ordered my usual size, but the boots I received were way too big. So, I decided to return them. The process seemed simple enough at first, with them arranging a courier to pick up the boots. But when I dropped them off, I found out they were being sent to the Netherlands, which I didn't expect. After dropping them off on October 5th, I was given a UPS tracking number. Days passed, and there was no movement. By October 19th, still nothing, so I emailed customer service. No reply. I sent another email on October 24th, and then started messaging them on social media. Finally, on October 29th, I got a response on Instagram, directing me back to the same email. I eventually got through on live chat, only to be met by an incredibly rude advisor named Maria. She insisted they hadn’t received my emails and offered no apologies for the delay or poor communication. She finally told me the boots had been picked up on October 29th, with no explanation for the delay. Now I’m stuck waiting even longer for a refund. This was the worst customer service experience ever. Avoid ordering directly from them; if you must buy their boots, go through a dealer with good customer service.

    Fake

I decided to give Merrell a shot by ordering from their official site, thinking it’d be the most dependable option. The anticipation was real, but things went south pretty quickly. My package just sat there in some random location, no movement, no updates. It felt like it was on vacation. I get it, delays happen, but the radio silence from their side was the real kicker. For a brand like Merrell, I expected way better communication and support after the purchase. This whole thing just makes me wonder if I’d ever order again. It’s my first time, and I’m already questioning if they really care about customer service. A little gesture, like a discount or promo code, could really make a difference and show they value their customers.

    I recently bought these shoes

I recently bought these shoes for my Scotland walking holiday, hoping they'd hold up. Well, I was wrong. They're definitely not waterproof—the toe seal isn't even properly connected. The right heel is so painful, I can only hope it’s a manufacturing defect and not a design flaw. What made it worse was the disinterested customer service at their London office. They couldn’t care less. Honestly, I'd rather walk in my altra trainers and deal with wet feet than wear these awful shoes. It feels like they were rushed out just to jump on the barefoot trend. If you’re set on Merrell, buy directly from them. Otherwise, they just pass the buck to the seller.

    Man, I used to love

Man, I used to love these shoes. Been buying them for 20 years since a coworker recommended them. They were comfy, lasted a year or more even though I'm on my feet all day. But now? Total garbage. I bought two pairs recently and they fell apart in weeks. The glue doesn't hold, the toe cap is now some flimsy material, and honestly, I might as well wear Kleenex boxes on my feet. Really disappointed. I paid over $100 for what I thought was quality, but it’s just overpriced junk now. Thinking of switching to cheap Walmart sneakers. At least I won't feel as ripped off. If you want pics of the mess, just ask, but I doubt anyone cares.

    I was really disappointed

I got these Moab 3 waterproof shoes back in April 2025, thinking they’d be perfect for my hiking trips. But from the first step, they felt all wrong. The comfort just wasn’t there, and walking became a real chore. I thought maybe it was just me, so I reached out to customer service, hoping for some advice or help. Unfortunately, they weren't helpful and seemed quite dismissive of my concerns. I was really disappointed with both the shoes and the service. If you're considering these for your next adventure, you might want to think twice. They're not what I expected, and I wish I had gone for a different pair.

I ordered a pair of sandals online, and they were supposed to be delivered by EVRI. Unfortunately, they never showed up. I reached out to EVRI’s customer service, and they tried to track them down, but the sandals were lost somewhere along the way. They told me to inform Merrell, but getting in touch with them was a nightmare. The chat option was always offline, and I sent two emails with no reply. Calling them wasn’t an option either, as I couldn’t get through. It was quite frustrating not getting any response or help from Merrell. Now I'm left without my sandals and no idea what to do next.

    What a frustrating time

I recently had a frustrating experience trying to return an item. The instructions mentioned attaching three copies of the invoice to the box, but all I got was an order confirmation, no invoice in sight. Decided to jump on their live chat for help, but they told me I just needed a packing slip. Here's the kicker: their live chat only works on the phone, not on their website, and it wasn't even available during the hours they claimed it would be. Honestly, it was a mess. They need to sort out their returns process and communication because it's just not working right now.

    I picked up a pair

I picked up a pair of Ridge Trail sneakers from a brand I used to trust. Wore them lightly, mostly for casual walks, and within a year, the mesh started to fray, and the rubber on the soles began to wear out and peel off. It’s really disappointing to see the quality drop so much. You start to wonder if these companies are cutting corners for quick profits. Are they aware of something about the future that we’re not? It's frustrating because it feels like they don’t care about their loyal customers anymore. Quality should be a priority, not an option.

    Okay, so I had this

Okay, so I had this crazy experience with Merrell's online store in New Zealand. I ordered some hiking gear, and nobody got back to me about my order. I reached out, expecting some help. Instead, I got this snarky email from their Managing Director, David Steans. His email was super sarcastic, saying stuff like there's no big desire for me to "take a hike" and even suggesting I use another brand. I mean, what kind of customer service is that? I've never felt more brushed off. Seriously, just avoid them if you want any decent support or respect.

    Bought 2 pairs of black

Bought 2 pairs of black Moab kids shoes for my boys back in April, hoping they'd be perfect for school—waterproof, black, comfy, the whole package. But just a few weeks in, the black started peeling off the toes on both pairs. Tried reaching out to Merrell for a fix or replacement, but no response, even after a second email. Super disappointed, especially since we've trusted Merrell for years without issues. For the price, you'd expect them to last way longer and at least get some customer service. Guess we're done with Merrell for good.

Got Merrill shoes and they felt amazing at first. Bought another pair almost immediately. But, wow, was I in for a surprise. Just walked a few houses down after some rain, and bam, soles just came right off. Couldn't believe it happened with both pairs. Guess they use the cheapest glue possible. For what I paid, you'd think they would last longer. Really disappointed and frustrated. Definitely not recommending Merrill to anyone and won't be buying from them again. Save your money and avoid the hassle.

    I had a terrible time

I had a terrible time trying to order online. My credit card got declined even though it’s a US card and both my shipping and billing addresses are in the US. The customer service rep said I could only place orders from the US, which made no sense. Tried using a VPN to fix it, but still no luck. The site kept messing up my billing address when I clicked "review order," and it wouldn’t show the order review. To top it off, the customer service agent just hung up on me. Really frustrating experience.

Was really hoping for a better experience with Merrell. Got my first pair of MOAB 2 boots and my feet were soaked after a short walk. Reached out to customer service, and they were nice enough to replace them with MOAB 3s. But guess what? Same issue. Feet still getting wet, especially around the toes. Seems like water's getting in where the sole joins. Kinda baffling and really frustrating. Thought Merrell would be more reliable, but after this, I'm done. Not worth the hassle or the wet socks.

Bought a pair of shoes online, size 10.5 like always, but these Merrells were too tight. Followed their return instructions, sent them back, and waited. Two weeks later, no refund, no message. Reached out to customer service and got nowhere. The rep seemed bored and only acted sorry when I mentioned writing a review. Now I might have to take legal action just to get my money back. Really frustrating experience, and I definitely won’t be buying from Merrell again.

I got two pairs of Merrell walking shoes, and both ended up with holes in the heels pretty fast. They were advertised as waterproof, but that didn't last long either. My latest pair, after just 18 months, is already falling apart around the toes. Not too impressed with the durability.
