I gave them a call yesterday, got a reply from a really nice customer service rep. They arranged an appointment for me the very next day to assemble my office desk. The service guy, Steven, showed up on time, was professional, and got down to business. Within 30 minutes, my desk was assembled and looking good. Affordable, good customer service, and quality work. I got a bed headboard, frame, and footboard installed. They did it on a Sunday, which was great. They were really professional and fast. I'll definitely call Fixtman again if I need repairs or installations.

I bought an aquarium stand on Amazon that required assembly. After finding Thumbtack via a Google search, I contacted them and got a fair quote from FixTman. The handyman was quick and skilled at getting the job done. I was happy with how everything turned out and the setup of my new aquarium stand! I’d definitely hire them again!

Unfortunate experience, horrible response by company.

The pre-installation communication was great. The technician was on time and cordial. Before he began working I showed him that I wanted the TV mounted 3 feet from the floor. Installation went smooth enough. However, not 3 minutes after he had left I noticed the TV was 4 feet high from the floor. Not what we agreed on. Called the number he texted me from, it was not a valid number. Called the company and they said they will try to get it touch with him to come back to help me adjust the TV. Did not hear back for 3 hours despite checking in every hour. Later that evening, the company Quality improvement person calls and asks for pictures, which I send. And now they are saying that I changed my mind and the tech successfully installed the TV at the agreed up position. I am appalled by their dishonesty. Bending the truth to gaslight me instead of standing by their work. Clearly, their advertised “satisfaction guaranteed” is a lie. If they are putting in this much effort into not fixing a relatively simple issue , I can’t imagine the lengths they will go to not respond to more serious issues. I don’t recommend walking away from this firm, instead I advise you to RUN away. I learned a hard lesson, hope you don’t have to.

Poor Scheduling

Took 3 Days & 2 different Installers to complete installation of a Wayfair Gazebo- they were never on time even though they promised on the 3rd Day of the install Installer arrived 2 1/2 hours after they had promised

total nightmare

My experience with this company was a total nightmare. They delivered a treadmill that was way too heavy for their delivery guys, but they still tried to muscle it in and ended up breaking the elevation motor, which costs a whopping $700 to fix. On top of that, they smashed the side rails, and the delivery and installation of those would set me back $900. But here's the real kicker – instead of owning up to their mistake, FIXTMAN basically told me at the time of delivery that the treadmill didn't work. They didn't even consider it might be their fault. Turns out it was their fault all along – the treadmill didn't tilt forward during delivery, and by the time it made it upstairs, it was busted and damaged.

New TV and mount dropped off the wall in just 60 days. The company took no responsiblity because it didn't fall in the first 30 days. There's no proof that a TV would fall in 40 days. The side that wasn’t secured to the studs eventually gave in. I wouldn’t rely on you to mount a TV again.
