    I had a really good

    I had a really good experience working with Matt Thomas. He was super patient and really knew his stuff. It felt like he genuinely cared about helping me, not just making a sale.     I was on the phone with Jamal Myers this morning, and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. My husband got pulled over for the third time last night, showed the insurance card, and was still told we had no insurance. This has been happening since we started our policy with Biberk on December 31, 2024. We’ve paid every month, yet I’m somehow not authorized on my own account and not an insured driver on my vehicle. The officer gave us a warning and said the car could be towed next time. Jamal was a lifesaver, though. His calm demeanor kept me from losing it completely. I'm still waiting for a supervisor to call back. Biberk, please get your act together. We need reliable insurance and after-hours customer service for small business owners. Thank goodness for the kind officer who didn't tow our car!

    I had a pretty frustrating experience with my insurance provider in September. Needed a basic loss run for my professional liability insurance, and it took several calls, redirects, and emails to finally get it. To make things worse, my recurring payment was scheduled for the day after my renewal, so I had to make an emergency manual payment to avoid any lapse in coverage. Ended up finding more expensive insurance elsewhere and called to cancel with Biberk. Followed their instructions, submitted my email, and heard nothing. Three weeks later, I called again, was told to resubmit due to an error in my first request. Asked about a refund estimate but they couldn’t help me there since it’s an accounting thing. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, but it didn’t really solve my problem.

    Since the late '70s, I've seen all kinds of insurance businesses, but BiBerk takes the cake for being downright frustrating. I signed up with them, thinking it’d be smooth sailing. Boy, was I wrong. Need a certificate? You’re looking at a wild goose chase. First, you hit up their online service, then twiddle your thumbs for a few days. When they finally respond, brace yourself for more waiting—over a week—and then, bam! Wrong certificate in your inbox. Since March, it’s been a merry-go-round of calls with reps and agents, emails, and still, wrong info. I even sent examples, but they mess it up every time, sticking my name in the wrong box. It's like they don’t get it. I’m done with this circus.

    So I run this small mobile car detailing biz, right? And I got insurance with Biberk. Lately, I've been stressing out because they added stuff to my policy without asking me first, which means my costs went up. Then, I noticed they messed up the info on my policy, saying I make way more money than I actually do. They claimed my annual sales were $145,800, but in reality, it’s closer to $70,000. And don’t even get me started on how they said I have rental income. I don’t rent anything out! I tried to get answers, but nobody’s getting back to me. It’s like talking to a wall. I can't even get a supervisor on the phone. This whole thing has me questioning if I can trust them at all.

    As a contractor focused solely on applying for permits for electrical work, I've hit a snag. My website, which is completely blank because I never got around to making it, led to my policy being canceled. I don't even do any physical work myself—all of that is subcontracted out. Yet, just having that domain name was enough for them to pull the plug. What really gets me is they won't even let you talk to anyone before making their final decision. It's been a total waste of time and has messed up my chances of getting other policies. This whole mess even resulted in my contractor's license being revoked by the state. It's been a frustrating experience.

    I've been using BiBerk for my business insurance for almost 5 years without any issues, always paid my premiums on time and never made a claim. Recently though, I started getting hit with audits for my old workers' comp policies. One audit even said I overpaid and was due an $8,000 refund, but I never got it. Now, I'm being invoiced for hundreds on a policy I canceled over 6 months ago. Customer service is a nightmare; I can hear kids crying in the background, and they seem clueless. I'm getting harassed with calls and mail about old policies, and there's no resolution in sight. It's the worst experience I've had with any business.

    I can't believe how frustrating

    I can't believe how frustrating my experience was with this company. Called customer service and waited 45 minutes on hold, which I thought was just because they were busy. Got transferred to someone else, waited another 35 minutes, and they weren't even the specialist I needed. Same department as the first person! The worst part? They were so rude and condescending, acting like my questions were a huge bother. Felt so belittled. This was the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was just too much. If you need help, don't expect it from them. Truly awful service. Avoid at all costs!

    I got insurance policies with Biberk back in July, and it was a disaster from the start. They didn’t have all the coverage I needed for my contract, so I canceled them after two weeks. Called customer service, and they were no help at all. They sent me two checks for the canceled policies, but then I started getting invoices two months later. Since then, it’s been non-stop invoices even though I canceled. Today, December 10th, 2024, another invoice showed up. It’s beyond frustrating, and nobody can explain what’s happening. Now they say I have an invoice in Collections, which I had no clue about. Total nightmare!

    Absolutely awful experience. Their customer service is just terrible and their systems are way too complicated. It's like they don't even talk to each other within the company. Trying to add or remove employees was a nightmare, so confusing. Then, they send out a policy in the mail saying you're insured, only to get an email later telling you to find new coverage in 30 days. Seriously? How can their website look so good when the service is this bad? I'd honestly rather pay double somewhere else. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs. It's just not worth the frustration and wasted time.

    Man, I gotta share my experience with this insurance company. I've been getting E & O insurance for over 25 years, no claims ever. So, I signed up with this new company, thought I was getting a good deal. The first year, everything's cool, rate was fine. But then, outta nowhere, they hit me with a 50%+ increase the next year. I was like, what? No claims, no services, nothing had changed. Called them up to see what's going on, and they just said that was their planned rate hike. Felt like a total rip-off, honestly. Just not the kind of surprise you want from your insurance.

    I thought hiring a couple of guys to install windows for our small business would be straightforward. We paid them less than $15,000 for their work over a month. The insurance, though, was a nightmare. They charged us $1,600 upfront, promising we'd get some of it back. But, that never happened. Instead, we got hit with another $1,300 charge at the end. So frustrating! The insurance was supposed to cover them just in case, but we never even used it. Feels like a total scam. We shelled out almost $3,000 for nothing. Never going through this company again.

    Poor customer service

    I can't believe what happened when I tried to sort out workers comp for our team. The person on the other end was just plain rude and acted like he was doing me a favor. I gave him all the info he needed, but somehow it turned into a mess he blamed on me! He wouldn't own up to his mistakes and then, out of nowhere, he just hung up. Seriously, is this what they consider customer service? It's frustrating because we really needed to get this sorted, but now we're definitely looking for another company. This was just not okay.

    I got quoted $5500 in

    I got quoted $5500 in October for our General Liability insurance, which seemed fair. But then last week, out of nowhere, they tell me it’s going up to $11,000. We haven't had a single GL claim in 15 years. I made sure to give them all the info they needed before the quote – loss runs, business equipment details, even a copy of our old GL policy. When I called to ask why the huge increase, the rep just said that’s what the underwriters decided. I'm feeling really frustrated and confused with this situation.

So, I tried reaching out to fix it, and ended up talking to a customer service rep from the Caribbean. It was so distracting with all the chickens crowing in the background, I could barely hear them. I mean, seriously? This is not what I expected from a Buffett company. Really disappointed and feeling like my trust was completely misplaced.

    I had a frustrating experience with this company. I tried to cancel my service, but they kept charging my credit card without asking. After I canceled, they sent me an audit request, which I complied with, providing all the necessary info from my accountant. Despite that, they slapped me with a huge bill, claiming non-compliance. It feels like they're trying to squeeze every penny out of you, even when you follow their instructions. Be careful if you decide to go with them.
