Hiren, our mortgage broker, was really easy to deal with. Very quick to reply, open minded, and sincerely tried to assist us. This was my first time using a broker... much better service than the bank where I had been a customer for 25 years. Overall, a good experience

True North Mortgage
We supplied true north with all documents Sept 21 and it is now Nov 21 and we still do not have a mortgage. Broker kept saying they had everything and every 2-3 days they would come back with other requests. Every time they asked for more documentation we supplied within 1 day, we still do not have a confirmed mortgage and first payment is legally (as we signed documents) to come out in 9 days. Have no idea what else they need from us as now our mortgage broker 'went on vacation' and his back up has no idea. I tried to phone head office and had to leave a voice mail. Nobody has returned my call yet (to be fair it was only one hour ago) but nobody seems to know what else is needed and who will supply it. I have never had this happen to be before and would not recommend True North. My last 2 mortgages were done so fast with very little complication. Very frustrating experience.
