Company no longer conducting business
by Anonymous

I would say this company seems to have gone out of business, but still presents as an active e-retail website. I don’t know if they’re still shipping new product, but anyone considering ordering on their website should reconsider. I had a repair issue covered by warranty for a scooter purchased in December. I spoke with someone who sent me the proper forms and shipping instructions. I shipped the scooter to them as instructed and received email confirmation that they received the scooter for repair on 1/26/2024. I have heard nothing since. I have sent dozens of message/contact request forms. I have dialed their phone number (the only one available that I can find anywhere online) hundreds of times over 6 weeks, and each time encounter a busy signal. Their website continues to update with seasonal specials. This means either those running the company have disappeared as other evidence suggests and these are prescheduled site updates (in which case, new purchases would be unlikely to be fulfilled), or they’ve been intentionally scamming people in the past several months. Either scenario is a losing one for the unsuspecting consumer. I have never experienced anything like this. I’ve never even heard of anything like this, from a seemingly established company/manufacturer (as evidenced by its multi-generation products) with pretty decent reviews. Ever. I’ve since turned it over to my credit card company for dispute. Hoping a party with a voice louder than mine can correct the issue and perhaps blow the lid off whatever it is Swagtron is doing here.

by Paul Pilkati

Placed my order and picked up a Swagtron board from a nearby shop on clearance. I wasn't really looking for an electric skateboard, but it was cheap and the specs caught my eye, even though I was a bit skeptical because I'm close to the max weight limit. It works just as the box says, and it's cool that you can ride it like a regular skateboard. The kick assist is really useful on flat ground and enjoyable downhill, even gives a boost on small inclines. The wheels are okay, and it's comfy to ride—easily gets over small stones and other obstacles. I added some grease to the bearings, which made a big difference. Just make sure the wheel nuts are tight and the bearings are kept clean and greased. I rode mine through fine sand with no issues at all. The technology and build quality surprised me, especially for a toy-grade electric skateboard. It would be awesome if Swagtron offered a version with a bigger battery and stronger trucks/motors, but it's good as is.

by Farley Jr

I recently purchased the EB6 bike from Swagtron for a Christmas gift. Despite receiving the bike promptly on 12/4/23, my excitement turned into disappointment. When I opened the box on 12/10/23 to assemble and charge it, I found NO pedals, NO charger, and no instructions. Upon contacting customer service, I encountered a very rude representative. Despite his assurance to send the missing parts, I was taken aback by his dismissive attitude, insinuating that I may have received the items. This is unacceptable, especially for a Christmas gift. It's disheartening, and I hope to receive the missing items promptly to salvage the situation. My experience with Swagtron's customer service has been awful.

by Courtney Alexander

My experience with this company has been utterly disappointing. I purchased 4 hoverboards, and shockingly, 2 of them arrived completely non-functional. Despite these being sentimental gifts from my late grandmother to my children, the company displayed a shocking lack of empathy. Rather than offering to repair the faulty items, they insisted on a refund, leaving me to bear the burden of return shipping costs. This heartless approach and lack of consumer respect showcase the company's unscrupulous nature. A truly disheartening encounter with a company that falls short of any ethical standards.

by Justin B

I bought two e-bikes for my kids, and within six months, both of them completely stopped working. I had to send one back for warranty repairs, costing me $100, and it still only ran for a few days before failing again. The bikes were stored indoors, and the batteries and connection ports proved to be problematic. The customer service I received was equally terrible. I strongly advise everyone to explore other companies when looking to buy an electric bike. The product quality and customer support from this company were disappointing.

Have a Swagtron EB7 electric bike.
by Anonymous

Have a Swagtron EB7 electric bike. The wiring around the back tire isn't well protected, so it got damaged, and now the bike won't work. Tried finding a customer service number, but the only one I found just beeps. Only option is to email them and wait for a response, which could take days. Asked them to call me, but got an automated email saying they'll get back in 3 days. Not convenient at all. Spent a lot of money on this bike, but their customer service is lacking. Won't buy from Swagtron again. Laughable.

The company is okay
by Unhappy

The company is okay, but the customer service is very poor. Their website sells an additional warranty for $65, but there are no proper guidelines on how or where to enroll and claim for issues that may arise. I received the wrong item and had to go through a lot of processes to get it resolved. They provided a return label, but despite my numerous requests and a genuine problem, they haven't helped me arrange for a pickup service.

by Stan

My biking experience turned into a nightmare when the gear malfunctioned mid-ride, posing a serious safety threat. Shockingly, I'm now burdened with repair costs despite the potential harm. This highlights a glaring lack of product reliability and leaves me questioning the company's commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. A disappointing ordeal that speaks volumes about their overall service quality.

by Daniel M

Navigating their website was a hassle due to its clunkiness, and product descriptions lacked essential details. Having previously purchased items without a warranty, I faced issues, and the company, along with Amazon, offered no support beyond the 90-day window. To avoid headaches, I reluctantly opted for the one-year warranty this time. Eye roll-worthy.

Shopinng was simple and took about a minnut due to the setup of the site. It was helpful to enter all my info on one page, so if I made a mistake, I didn't have to redo half. Thx swagtron!

Finding a part and checking out was quite simple.
by John Wedde

Finding a part and checking out was quite simple. The only issue was that the black option was out of stock, so I had to go with white instead. Other than that, it was very easy.

I tested out this product that my friend got, and let me tell you, it was a beast at handling rough terrain. I'm stoked to give it a go with a go-kart.

by PRISCILA GR

The company couldn't even manage to ship a simple battery on time, and to make matters worse, the batteries they provided are of very poor quality.

Company rocks! Ship fast, 1st hoverboard I tried. Dig it so much, got another for a "buddy rig"! Riding's a breeze!
