    I’ve heard some real horror stories about breakdown companies, but I can honestly say my experience with the RAC was great. My car had a dead battery at home, so I called the RAC. The mechanic was there within an hour, figured out the issue, and had a new battery on hand to replace it. He explained the likely cause of the issue in a way that made sense, and he was friendly and easy to talk to. Big thanks to Jacob ID4490 for his help. 5* service!

    I arrived after wasting an hour online, not knowing where I was, so I had to call. The person on the phone was very helpful, and I couldn’t thank him enough. The patrol was also very nice and helped me get back on the road. His name is Harry, and his ID is 1897. It would be better if RAC updated their postcodes to make it easier to find places.

    Lee called ahead to let us know when he would arrive.

    Lee called ahead to let us know when he would arrive. When he got here he was really nice, looked at the car, gave me the codes, and said not to drive it. He arrenged a courtesy car that came in just two days, really amazing.

    On the day it is 5 stars with help arriving right on time (very importent) and Andrew (7268) was very careful checking the cause by doing full diagnostics and then trying a fix. Sadly that did not succeed but he came with me home to ensure I did not get stranded. Still the fifth star is missing because I could not find the report in MyRAC and had to call and be passed around to get to the correct person who finally sent me the link by email. This report was needed to inform my garage about the likely problem and get ready. Needs work Mr MyRAC.
