    Issue fixed, language still pushy

Asked about an expired notice and got a reply the next day with steps and a reset. Polite, though the emails still feel alarmist.

    Simple form, confusing emails

Registering my chip was quick and I liked seeing an instant confirmation. Weeks later, renewal notices landed that sounded urgent, which made me uneasy. Support answered and clarified, but I wish the language were clearer. I also verified the chip in a larger lookup to be safe.

I was adding my pets ID chip, thinking it was the right site.

I was adding my pets ID chip, thinking it was the right site. Somehow they got their page to show up before a well known chip service. In the uk it dont cost anything to regiser a chip! I nearly paid befor I noticed something weird. Feels like a trick!

    I feel scammed

I feel scammed, I decided to search it up since I couldn't find any renewal fee! Seems really convincing, but I started to get nervous about my dog not coming back, in case she ever got lost.

My husband received an email saying the dog chip

My husband received an email saying the dog chip is about to expire. We've had 3 dogs and never had any issues with the first two since they were chipped by our vet. The last dog, however, was chipped by the breeder, so we aren't sure if they used a vet or a mobile chipping service. I remember my husband having some trouble updating the address, but he eventually got it done. I’m mentioning this because our vet only has my details, so it makes me wonder if outside places are the ones being compromised!! Shoking!

    Alert ‼️

So glad I found this service. Alert ‼️ was my first reaction when I got the email, as like many others, I never had to renew a pets microchip before. What’s concerning is how they have all my info and my dog’s too. Hope people double check before trusting them.

I received a renewal notice today.

I received a renewal notice today. When I first got my dog, I signed up with Pet Log and wanted to upgrade. Somehow, I ended up on this website instead. Once I realised the mistake, I cancelled it and stuck with Pet Log because it only requires a single lifetime payment and is supported by the Kennel Club. Petchip clearly kept all my information and was trying to charge me!
