About company

This UK-based company stands as the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of 'soft' Straw Pellet Bedding tailored specifically for horses. Their bedding has earned independent recognition as the most absorbent option available, distinguished by its Defra-approved antibacterial treatment. Crafted from British Straw, which undergoes a process of cutting into long, springy fibers, the material is then compacted into soft pellets. These pellets readily expand without requiring water activation. Commitment to sustainability and environmental friendliness is evident, as their products swiftly compost after use, reducing disposal costs and leaving soil unharmed, further solidifying their position as a responsible and innovative choice in equine bedding.

Ordered a mixed pallet,
by Kerry Burges

Ordered a mixed pallet, and after a prolonged wait, it finally arrived, only to discover it was filled entirely with straw pellets. After months of waiting for the Miscanthus pellets with no success, I decided to purchase bedding from elsewhere. They eventually came to collect the unwanted and unordered straw pellets, providing a refund approximately five months from the original order.

Where is my bedding?
by Janet Marchant

I placed my pellet bedding order on October 16th, and as of now, I still have not received them. This is the first communication I've received regarding the status. Checking my account, it simply states that the order is pending. Feeling frustrated with the lack of progress and information.

The company's miscanthus pellets were
by dennis

The company's miscanthus pellets were like magic for us! When we put them in the stable, Rio, our horse, couldn't resist them. We had to drag her away! After clearing the extras, we covered all pellets with shavings. They absorb wetness nicely as a base layer, but covering them is a must.

The company gave me helpful
by Anonymous

The company gave me helpful advice on which straw pellets to order. Their service was quick and delivery was good. I haven't tried the pellets yet as I'm still using my old wood pellets, but I'll review them later.

Took a lengthy 6 weeks for delivery
by Zach Nash

Took a lengthy 6 weeks for delivery, and the delivery process was a complete shambles. It didn't arrive on the promised day and, to add to the confusion, showed up the day before the rearranged delivery date.

Pelletbeds are awesome - good talk
by Sand

Pelletbeds are awesome - good talk and when pellets DIDN'T ARRIVE - pelletbeds handled it, chased the carrier and found the 'lost' or 'misplaced' pallet of pellets. Product great.

Ordering was easy, but was disapointed
by Ann

Ordering was easy, but was disapointed in the lack of communication about the status of the order. Once contacted, received a phone call, so the personal touch went a long way.

Quite useful as horse bedding
by PD

Quite useful as horse bedding, I find them really good at soaking up liquids. Plus, it's nice that you can return the bags.
