So, here's what I think about the company: They canceled my order without even checking with me first, despite having a perfectly fine credit card on file. Their reason? Apparently, my shipping address didn't match the billing address. Obviously, they wouldn't match. When I finally got through to someone after being on hold for ages, they were useless. They wouldn't transfer me to someone who could actually help, and they wouldn't let me place the order again. Maybe they're good at making gaming computers, but their customer service stinks.

Purchased a PC case from NZXT

Purchased a PC case from NZXT, my initial product from them. Had a few queries and dialed their support line. Got connected to a friendly, knowledgeable representative who assisted me well. Impressed by the customer service. Received timely email updates regarding certain parts. Rarely encountered such a satisfying experience with a company. Good job.

A company that sells pricey

A company that sells pricey items but won't sell you replacement parts, leaving you with costly useless gadgets. I got a new 240mm NZXT Kraken RGB for £160. I accidentally pulled too hard on the breakaway cable that plugs into the base. Ebuyer, where I bought it, said they couldn't help much due to user error, which is fair. So, I contacted NZXT UK directly. They refused to sell me a replacement breakaway cable, saying they're only for warranty issues. Now my AIO is completely useless just 4 days after purchase because NZXT won't sell me a cable.

I bought an NZXT Player Two Prime PC

I bought an NZXT Player Two Prime PC on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, and it was delivered on February 28th, 2024. Upon opening the package, I was surprised to find Polystyrene hugging the Graphics Card on the inside, along with static cling film attached to the dark tempered glass panel. The CPU AIO Cooler Block had a sticker advising to plug in SATA before use, and there was cardboard covering the bottom fan inside the case. Unfortunately, there was no warning about the internal packing materials, some of which could cause static electricity within the PC. When I contacted tech support about this, they suggested ignoring the sticker and removing it if desired, but made no mention of the use of Polystyrene and sheet plastic inside the PC. Unsurprisingly, the PC had issues, potentially related to static electricity damage. Despite my efforts to remove the packing materials cautiously using specialized equipment and a wrist strap attached to the mains earth, the PC continued to have problems. The provided manuals/documentation from NZXT were generic, with no tech specs available. I had to install MSI Control Centre to determine the Graphics card specifications. In my gaming experience with Cyberpunk 2077, I noticed significant performance issues compared to other RTX 4070 Ti Super Graphics Cards. The MSI "RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 2X Series, 16376 MB" ran 40fps slower than the VENTUS 3X Model in an online comparison at 1080p. Additionally, I observed a ripple effect and texture shimmering, issues absent in my old PC with a 3060 Ti card. MSI Control Centre revealed that my RAM was running at 2400Mhz, which was below expectations. The PC was listed by NZXT as Player Two Prime (Black) for £1,899.00, with the following specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800X GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Ti Super Memory: 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200 Mhz Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD Motherboard: B550 Cooler: NZXT Kraken 240 RGB Power: 750W Gold Case: NZXT H5 Elite Software: Windows 11 Home However, MSI Center reported different details, including a Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2, 2x 16 GB DDR4-2400 (Unknown TEAMGROUP-UD4-3200), and an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 2X Series. To return the PC, NZXT requested opening it again and wrapping all components in cardboard, a step they did not take when initially shipping the product. Lastly, while the pictures of the PC looked impressive, the actual lighting inside was inadequate, and the AIO Cooler's display was faint, making it difficult to read if set to off white. There was also a lack of lighting on the RTX card and below it.

On January 15th, I initiated the purchase of a pre-built PC valued at $1,700, excluding taxes. This acquisition was intended as a birthday gift for my brother, scheduled three weeks from the order date. Regrettably, the company failed to commence the PC assembly within the specified timeframe. Despite reaching out to customer service, I was informed that the delay was attributed to the holiday season, an explanation that seemed inadequate given the order placement 20 days post-Christmas. Disappointed with the prolonged wait and lack of progress, I decided to opt for a refund. However, to my dismay, the company imposed fees exceeding $300, despite the fact that the PC was never dispatched. While they promptly deducted the initial payment, the refund process dragged on for weeks. In my experience, NZXT appears to be a company that lacks efficiency, charges exorbitant prices for subpar components, and demonstrates a disregard for customer satisfaction, prioritizing financial gain over customer well-being.

Man, NZXT really dropped the ball

Man, NZXT really dropped the ball. Four H1 systems, and not just one but two AIOs went kaput due to craftsmanship issues. Tried reaching out for help, but phone calls went unanswered, and when they finally responded to my emails, it took them forever. And get this, their grand solution was a flat-out "out of warranty means no parts for you" message. Seriously? It's like they're hiding behind proof of purchase and not owning up to their craftsmanship problems. This whole experience screams "not consumer-friendly" and "customer service? What's that?" I've had enough of NZXT's runaround. Never again will I put up with their products, and I'm waving goodbye to this poorly run ship. They've lost a customer, and I'm spreading the word. Good riddance, NZXT!

I received the PC, and the CPU

I received the PC, and the CPU temperature skyrocketed to 100°C while gaming. When I contacted them about it, their response was to reseat/repaste the cooler. However, the quality of their work on that was terrible. Despite following their instructions, I only managed to bring the temperature down by about 5 degrees. To make matters worse, the PC suddenly crashed one day and wouldn't turn back on. After troubleshooting, I discovered that the PSU was dead. I replaced it, and everything started working fine. When I approached them about warranty support, they insisted that I buy new packaging and send the entire PC back - a solution I found inconvenient and impractical. Overall, I'm disappointed with their service.

I have been thoroughly enjoying my custom H7 Elite PC build for over a year without any issues. However, six days ago, it suddenly started making an unusual, constant noise. As a streamer, this noise was more than just an inconvenience; it was a significant problem that needed prompt resolution. I can't thank Paytyn enough for the exceptional customer service I received from NZXT. As a customer building an almost full build with their hardware, I was devastated when the part I was most excited for turned out to be defective. I thought I had wasted hundreds of dollars. However, when I reached out to NZXT for help, they responded quickly and provided clear instructions. They even went above and beyond by sending me a new and upgraded replacement for my defective part.
