I've been a consistent customer of
by Marc Tenan

I've been a consistent customer of Lots of Plants, having purchased 12 plants totaling nearly $1,000 over the past year. Generally, I've been satisfied with the quality of their plants and the efficiency of their shipping. Admittedly, the pricing is on the higher side, although still more affordable than most online competitors. Comparatively, it's pricier than my local nursery, but Lots of Plants offers plant varieties that are unavailable at the local level. However, my recent experience has left me discontented. Specifically, I intentionally opted for a 6-gallon Olympic Fire Mt Laurel to secure a larger plant. To my dismay, what I received was a 3-gallon plant inside a 6-gallon container. This revelation came from my prior purchase of the same plant in a 3-gallon container last spring, with an identical size to the one already thriving in my front yard for a year. The new plant featured a notably small root ball, occupying just a third of the container, while the remaining two-thirds comprised nothing more than pine bark mulch. I ended up paying double the price for the exact same-sized plant I acquired last spring in a 3-gallon container—an extra $64 for a purported 6-gallon container. Adding to my dissatisfaction, the plant arrived dislodged from its container within the box. Although the plant seems healthy, approximately half of the root ball was exposed, albeit still enclosed in a plastic bag. Despite being promptly planted in the ground and adequately watered, the extent of its survival remains uncertain.

Don't Order From Them!
by Anonymous

I received 2 3 gal. Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangeas from lotsofplants.com. The plants were only 7 inches tall(the size of a quart-size plant)! One was fairly healthy and one had significant insect damage. It only had 2 stems and the leaves had been chewed and had black edges. I emailed the company asking for a return authorization and replacement. They replied "It looks dry, possibly sunburned, and possibly eaten by animals" and suggested watering. Watering this tiny dying plant would never transform it into a healthy 3-gal.$88 plant! I wrote them a bad review on Google Maps with photos and they answered "Her plants are very healthy but not being watered enough by her as can be seen by the drooping leaves." That's how they were shipped! It's now 3 weeks later and the plant is dead. I received the same plant from gardensoftheworld.com which is 22 inches tall and wide like a 3-gal.plant should be!

These Hydrangeas plants were so full and pretty!
by Sarah

These Hydrangeas plants were so full and pretty! I'm definitely ordering from this company again. Their quality is SO much better than any other company. They already had buds on the plants when I got them. I'll post pics later. But if these plants don't make it, it's probably the owner's fault. They come with clear instructions and you can even buy the soil they grow in for extra safety. I'm really happy with my purchase! My husband got me one L.A. Dreamin' for Mother's Day. I'm excited to watch these grow with our family!

We recently ordered a butterfly bush
by Dawn Okrasinski

We recently ordered a butterfly bush from Lots of Plants for my cousin who recently lost her husband. Opting for Miss Molly in a 3-gallon pot to contribute to her butterfly garden in his memory, we were pleased with the outcome. Our cousin expressed gratitude, describing the plant as beautiful and healthy, intending to make it the focal point of her garden. In moments of loss, deciding what to send becomes challenging, but Lots of Plants delivered timely and brought a meaningful touch of joy during a difficult time.

My first time ordering from Lots
by JoAnn M

My first time ordering from Lots of Plants, but definitely not my first time ordering Camelia Sineses (Tea Plant). The two plants I got from LOP are hands down the healthiest and most robust tea plants I've ever laid eyes on! Fingers crossed I don't accidentally kill these beauties... They are simply gorgeous! Oh, and one thing to note - if you order online using PayPal, it's processed through Stratford Nursery, just in case you get as confused as I did!

I'm disappointed with my recent plant
by Missy Ghee

I'm disappointed with my recent plant purchase. Despite paying the same price for each plant, I received them in different sizes. The larger one had trimmed branches, while the smaller one remained untouched, which would be acceptable if priced differently. Additionally, uncertainty about the color of the pink plant has eroded my trust in the company. This inconsistency in product quality and pricing leaves me dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I truly enjoyed using your website! Ordering was super easy and quick. I got an Aralia plant for my daughter-in-law. The order went through, shipped, and got to her porch very fast. The communication from Lots of Plants was great. The plant arrived undamaged and really healthy, which is awesome! My daughter-in-law is so happy with it! Thanks a lot :D

by Alan

While I generally grant Lots of plants a favorable 5-star rating on various occasions, this recent delivery of Sun Flare Hellebores fell short of the anticipated quality. The plant displayed signs of damage, dehydration, and overall dissatisfaction upon arrival. I have proceeded to plant it, but uncertainty lingers regarding its well-being.

I got some plants from Lots of Plants.
by Anonymous

I got some plants from Lots of Plants. They were healthy with strong roots. Planted them 5 days later, and they're doing well. Not cheap, but worth it. Bought similar plants from another vendor last year, and they looked sad compared to Lots of Plants'. Recommend Lots of Plants for gardening.

Diseased plant and negative customer service experience
by Anonymous

I ordered and received a hydrangea and it is in terrible condition with clear fungus spots. I sent photos and an email to the company and they said it looked fine and to water it. There are a complete scam and just take your money and send you garbage. Please avoid for your own sake.

The plant variety's good.
by Deborah

The plant variety's good. Delivery took a bit long, had to email for shipping after 10 days. No phone number, but email response within 24 hours. Got a free plant, but wished I could've chosen; ended up with a plant not for my yard. Now gotta find a place for it, nobody wants it.

Most of the plants arrived safely, but
by Donald Bull

Most of the plants arrived safely, but two were out of their pots with their roots exposed, and one Rose of Sharon plant doesn't seem very healthy. I'm concerned about whether these two exposed plants and the unhealthy Rose of Sharon will survive after being planted.

The hydrangea looked pretty
by Frances A

The hydrangea looked pretty sickly when it arrived, with most of its leaves all yellow. We planted it immediately, and now I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping it pulls through.

The plants arrived in excellent condition

The plants arrived in excellent condition, despite the box looking a bit battered from rough handling. The packaging was so effective that it shielded the plants perfectly.
