I decided to give AYA

I decided to give AYA a shot for summer housing, and I gotta say, the apartment itself was pretty decent. But the management? That's a whole different story. First, they gave me this lease agreement, but it seemed like they never bothered to actually follow it. My initial security deposit payment was bouncing back, so they said I could pay half upfront, which was what the lease confirmed anyway. One week in, they suddenly hit me up saying I needed to pay the rest of the deposit. They claimed it was their policy, even though it wasn't in the lease. Super annoying. Then there was the cleaning drama. AYA promises weekly cleaning, and the cleaning lady told us she'd be there every Monday. One Monday, she didn't show up. We called management, and they straight-up accused us of lying, saying someone had been there. After a bunch of back-and-forth, they finally admitted no one had cleaned the apartment that week. The biggest headache was the lease term. I needed a place for two months, but they only offered a 12-month lease with a clause that I could cancel 60 days before leaving and pay for the months I wouldn't be there. When I got the lease, it said two months, not 12. But at the end, they still charged me for the remaining 10 months and were super rude about it. I have to mention Omar Sanchez, the revenue associate, and Mandy Sanchez, the revenue manager. Their customer service was awful, and they were incredibly disrespectful. The company clearly messed up my lease but wouldn't take responsibility. The way they treat customers says a lot about their management.
