Hi, visited the new G Outdoors store to get a cool box for work. A young man named Lennie helped me out, and he was very polite, helpful, and gave me lots of useful info. Great service today!

The first employee I dealt with was really helpful. He found the walking boots I was after quickly and even went to check if I could get them at a discounted price since they were about to go on sale the next day. He came back saying yes and that he had already informed the till staff. I thought that was a nice gesture. However, when I got to the till, the staff member there was really rude and pushy. He told me I had to pay £5 for a loyalty card to get the sale price, which the first employee hadn't mentioned at all. When I asked him to double-check with the first person, he just refused and acted like I was being difficult. I felt pressured into getting a store card, even though I didn’t want it. This really spoiled what was shaping up to be a good experience. The first staff member was great, but the second one really made me feel uncomfortable.
