Gainsco's handling of my car insurance claim was utterly disappointing

Gainsco's handling of my car insurance claim was utterly disappointing. Following a collision caused by one of their insured drivers, I encountered a series of frustrating obstacles. Despite the other driver being clearly at fault and ticketed, Gainsco's responsiveness was shockingly poor. It took an excessive amount of effort and repeated calls just to reach their adjustor. Even then, communication remained abysmal, with unanswered calls and unfulfilled promises of callbacks from supervisors. The entire process was drawn out over three months, during which I received little to no assistance or clarity on crucial matters such as rental car provisions. As an elderly individual, this lack of support was not only aggravating but also deeply concerning. Gainsco's disregard for customer service and timely resolution is unacceptable, and I caution anyone considering their services to beware of potential delays and negligence.

This is one of the worst insurance companies to deal with. If you are considering them, I would say run the other way. You are constantly given the run around about your policy information. One agent tells you one thing, while another agent tells you something else. I requested that my policy be canceled and they gave me the run around about that. I have to write on paper, take a picture, then email just to cancel my policy. I requested that the policy be canceled by the next billing period, but they decided to cancel it that day. Then they tried to act as if they did not see the note in the email. I was told I would be sent a check for the refunded amount, and here it is almost 10 days later and I have not received my money. However, when they decided to cancel the policy, that notice came in the mail right away. Again, I would advise looking into other companies before choosing this company.

The costs were reasonable and the service was decent, but they seemed disorganized. Whenever I tried to pay my premium online or by phone, my policy number was not found. This issue began after 3 or 4 months of no problems, and they never managed to resolve it. I had to cancel my policy because each month I had to call and explain that I couldn't pay online, then wait for a live rep to handle it, which always took 30 minutes or longer.

Stay clear! Huge letdown!

Stay clear! Huge letdown! Awful communication and unprofessionalism. They won't extend my rental car lease, despite being tardy with the bodyshop and delaying. If I could rate lower than one star, I would. Numerous calls and messages, no reply, then they start texting. Really lousy company! Prepare for disappointment and frustration.

I've been with them for 2 months, had an accident 4 days ago, and still no rental car. My adjuster changed 3 times, no one returns calls or voicemail. This is the worst experience in my 28 years of driving. I just need a rental car, it's part of my coverage...

Been with Gainsco 8 years. Their customer service is good. They help with loan company for right coverage. Not just any coverage. Their prices are lowest among others. Always lowest or one of lowest.
