Man, their record keeping, phone convos

Man, their record keeping, phone convos, forms, and online stuff? Terrible! Apply online for anything - IRA, banking, whatever - but no guarantee they'll process or take it! Messed me up bad! Then they email the app, takes 10 days! Upload? Might not fly! Wait ages for customer response! By then, too late! Service won't own up to issues or calls! Document everything! I'm out, closing accounts! Go Ally bank, quick and great!

I had a Discover secured card for 2 years.

I had a Discover secured card for 2 years. Used it, paid it on time, carried 0 balance when I closed it. Lost job, had to bank on other debts but since my balance was always paid with Discover. I was in good standing. Apparently I recently decided to see about getting a Discover card again. They declined me and don’t offer a reason other than I had an account prior with satisfactory payments. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Definitely not a company to patronize.

I had a disappointing experience with Discover card. Despite vendors mishandling my funds, Discover wasn't helpful. They insisted it was my responsibility to reclaim the money. It's frustrating to feel helpless with hard-earned cash on the line. If vendors don't refund, why should I pay for nothing?
