I chose to buy my coffee machine from Coffee Friend

I chose to buy my coffee machine from Coffee Friend because their price was very good and they gave 10 free capsules. I had some trouble while ordering and decided to cancel. The next day, a staff member called and emailed me to help since they noticed my cancellation – I’m happy they did – they completed the order for me and even added 10 more free capsules. I haven’t used the machine yet because it’s a gift for Christmas. The support from them so far is perfct.

Honestly, I dont even know where to start. The coffee turns out wonderful, the delivery is uncomparabl. Always quick and right on schedule. My son’s machine stoped working so I gave him mine, as I also keep a manual one. For sure I will get another soon.

Beans ordered in two clicks

Site is clean, tasting notes are front and center, and grind options are clear. Added a V60 filter pack too. Checkout with Apple Pay was instant. Fresh roast arrived fast.

I am happy with my order

I am happy with my order, it came fast, nicely packed and included free coffee. They kept me informed during delivery. Everything went as planned, and I am thankfull.

Firstly I had no issues with Customer Support

Firstly I had no issues with Customer Support and thanks in particular to Simon. The delivery was within the time frame but this is the point they lost one star, as the tracking link was never updated from order placed on 01.09.2025 until the day it left on 10.09.2025, 8 working days later, even though the stages were shown on the page. My Item was a Tefal Multi cooker listed as in stock when I paid ( with delivery noted as 8 to 12 days on the website) so I felt the dispatch still took an unessesary amount of time. The cooker itself came in a carton saying Rice Cooker, but after calling Simon, who explained everything clearly, when opening the carton I found the multi cooker I had purchased was inside. I have powered the cooker on , it looks very good quality but when I use it fully in a couple of days I will be able to give a better view on the product. I believe this is a fair and open assesment of my experiance and a proper 4 stars given.

Reasonably priced equipment. Stale coffee.

Their coffee equipment is reasonably priced. The coffee seems OK priced when they are running offers, but bear in mind that they bulk purchase and roast outside the UK in bulk, so coffee will not be "fresh" off roast. Some I bought was 8 months off roast date, which would be considered 6 months past best by most coffee aficionados. With No CO2 left in the beans it was totally unsuitable for espresso and didn't form a crust on cafetiere, so didn't brew properly. I wouldn't buy their coffee at full price and now tend to stick to local/UK roasters. They hold all internal reviews for approval. My review on their site of the 8 month old beans was obviously rejected, as it was never posted.

Avoid at any cost! Even if you are on guarantee you pay for service

Do not buy from them! My machine broke after 5 months of use, I sent it to the brand for service and it still was not functioning properly. They refused to replace it although the Consumer rights act says that I have the right to request a refund or a new machine. Still insisted on doing their own service and ask me now £50 to send me back my coffee machine! This is bullying attitude
