Booking is simple, descriptions are right on

Booking is simple, descriptions are right on, and the product is steady. Regrettably, my initial reservation got axed due to the property being sold, but Vacasa's customer service team was very helpful and swiftly got me rebooked nearby with no hassle. We had a good vacation and didn't have lots of chores at check-out. Much better than AirBnB.

The place is so close to the ski lifts

The place is so close to the ski lifts, very handy, tidy and cozy, two bedrooms with enough beds for everyone, two bathrooms. Liked that they provided extra balnkets and good pillows. All the beds were nice to sleep on. I just wish early check-in and late check-out were an option, simpler to reserve and more affordable.

I like how the company showed the property

I like how the company showed the property just like in the ad. They texted about cleaning, which was nice. When I got there after graduation, it was good. Beds comfy, but some dust on fans and windows. Oven was dirty when we tried baking. Small things, probably fixed now. 5 stars for the house.

The property was modern and matched

The property was modern and matched the photos. But the floors were filthy, the coffee maker was broken, and the dryer didn’t heat. Vacasa didn’t fix any issues; they only said they’d tell local management. Vacasa sent a lot of texts and emails before, during, and after our stay, but offered no real help.

    Just got back from a

Just got back from a beach trip, and wow, the place was spotless! You wouldn't believe it’s a rental by the shore—no sand anywhere. The living room was super cozy, and the king-sized beds were just perfect. The kitchen? Big and had everything you'd need for cooking. However, heads up, the cute awning in the pics was gone when we arrived (Sept 28 - Oct 5), which was a bummer. Also, the third bedroom is really a laundry room with a bunk bed, no closet or dresser, so it’s probably more suited for kids than adults. But still, I'd book this place again in a flash!

    We had an awesome stay!

We had an awesome stay! Early check-in saved us big time since we had to leave our Portland hotel by 10am. Not having to wait until 4pm was a game changer. We dropped our bags, and still managed to go for a hike before sunset. Honestly, when you can't check in until 4pm, it feels like you're paying for a full day but not really getting one. This place made our trip so much smoother. Definitely gonna use Vacasa again and would totally stay in that same home. Great experience overall!

    Stayed here recently and it

Stayed here recently and it was great. The place was super clean, which I loved, and they had plenty of beach towels and linens. The rooftop view of the beach? Stunning. Getting in and out was a breeze. No carpet, so no worries about sand getting everywhere. The unit is right above a local bar, coffee shop, and sandwich shop—super convenient. Plus, it's just a one-minute walk to the beach. Already thinking about coming back next year.

We had such a great stay at the cottage! Checking in was a breeze, and the place was spotless and super comfy. When we had a small problem with the stove, they fixed it right away and everyone was really nice about it. The photos and descriptions online matched perfectly, which isn't always the case. This was our first time booking with Vacasa, and it was awesome. Can't wait to come back!

    Found myself in a spacious

Found myself in a spacious spot, lots of room to move around. Getting in was a breeze, instructions were clear as day. It was off-season at the beach, so not many amenities were open, but on the bright side, it wasn't crowded at all. The unit had three TVs, which is great, but man, those remotes were a puzzle. Could really use some coffee in the unit, even the cheapest motels usually have that covered. Overall, pretty chill stay with a few minor hiccups.

Staying at this property was quite an experience. The place itself? Absolutely lovely. But something weird happened halfway through our trip. We got back one day and our door entry code didn’t work. Turns out they forgot about our 4-day extension and changed the code like our original week was up. Standing there with all our stuff, locked out, was frustrating to say the least. Felt like someone really messed up. Not sure if I’d go with Vacasa again after that.

    We had a terrible experience

We had a terrible experience booking with VACASA and VRBO. In the middle of a natural disaster, they wouldn't let us change our dates. We risked our lives to get to Edisto, SC, just so we wouldn't lose our money. The only kind person we met was a lady at the VACASA Edisto office during check-in. The local grocery store, Food Lion, had barely any food or ice. Our home was damaged, we had no power, and our family needed us. All we wanted was to change our dates, not a refund. My husband, a first responder, had to leave early for work. We spent over $2,000 for just two nights. Never booking with them again.

Rented a condo in Daytona, Florida, from October 9 to 13, but Hurricane Milton had other plans. Got a mandatory evacuation notice for Volusia county on October 7. Reached out to Vacasa, thinking they'd understand the situation. Nope, they wouldn't refund or reschedule. Really? They expected me to drive down from Tennessee and stay in a place already battered by Hurricane Ian. Felt like they didn't care about my safety at all. The whole experience was super frustrating. Makes you think twice about booking with them again. Definitely wasn't worth the risk.
