    First of all, you can't trust

    First of all, you can't trust the internet anymore. However, you can trust Select Blinds. I was doing a makeover in my kids' bedrooms, and the size of shades I needed wasn't available on Amazon or Walmart. I didn't want to go to Lowe's or Home Depot to get them cut, so I searched for custom blinds and read the rave reviews about Select Blinds. I was a little worried because it seemed too easy, but when I came back to the website, the shades were on sale, almost half off! I purchased three bamboo shades with different light-filtering options. They were easy to install and look absolutely gorgeous. I love them!

    I went with Select Blinds because

    I went with Select Blinds because I urgently required a black shade for someone in hospice care. Their expedited shipping was promised to be fast, but it turned out to be a joke. The shade was shipped on March 7 and is expected to arrive on March 12. I'm disappointed because I needed it sooner, and they won't refund the $40 I spent on shipping.

    Our blind came quickly

    Our blind came quickly, and it was very easy for my husband to install. It matches the smaller one we bought previously. The slats could be of slightly better quality, but we are pleased with the look. The white is nice and clean-looking.

    The blinds are sturdy and operate smoothly. However, there was an issue with the color as it differed from my preference. I'm unsure if I accidentally selected the wrong shade while browsing the website. Although the order confirmation displayed the correct color, the small print went unnoticed. Unfortunately, the return policy left me with $300 worth of blinds donated to charity.

    My experience with Select Blinds was okay.

    My experience with Select Blinds was okay. When I got blinds for my rental property, which were inside mount, everything went smoothly. But when I ordered blinds for my own house, where I needed outside mounts, it was a disaster. The mounts are so obvious and unattractive that I'd rather keep the old, broken blinds.

    Don't waste your money! I purchased 2 manual and 4 motorized blinds from this company. While the manual ones are still functional, the motorized ones and their remotes have been problematic from the start. Despite receiving a new remote, I've struggled for over a year to make them work. Unfortunately, they can't be programmed, and customer service's only advice is to re-read the instructions. No refund or replacement offered. Suggested switching to 4 manual blinds, but that option was denied. Poor quality, no recourse, better off investing elsewhere. Lesson learned.

    The blinds do not fit correctly, and the only option provided was to reorder after being a dedicated customer and spending a significant amount of money. Additionally, the customer service communication is limited to texting, without the option to talk. I am disappointed with this experience and won't be using the company again. Now, I am left with blinds that I can't use.

    Ordered blinds in January, but

    Ordered blinds in January, but as February nears its end, the blinds are nowhere in sight. Numerous calls led to unhelpful suggestions to contact the shipping company, which proved equally futile. Dealing with Select Blinds feels like an endless loop, providing an unpleasant experience. Regrettably, I had to cancel my order due to the frustrating ordeal.

    We got blinds from Select

    We got blinds from Select Blinds back in July 2022. Since then, we've had to deal with three warranty claims for our fifteen sets. The most recent one got approved in June 2024. After the second claim, customer service bumped our warranty up to five years. But now, with the third claim, we're seeing that even five years isn't enough for these blinds. The ones giving us trouble are the Cordless Light Filtering Cellular Shades. Every time, it's the same issue: one of the internal cords snaps when we pull them down. We're just two adults using them gently, no pets or kids. Blinds should last a good seven to eight years, if not more. These from Select Blinds just don't match their price tag in quality.

    I had quite the experience

    I had quite the experience with this company. Ordered two shades, expecting them to be a match, but the headrails turned out bright white while the shades were beige. They claim they match the rails to the shade color, but that's a joke. They also mention HOA for the back of shades, but never explain what that means. Ordered 30 inches, and they say they take off 1/4 inch, but it felt like more. Plus, the headrail doesn’t fit standard window molding, it's 2 inches instead of 1 1/2. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. They promised a refund today—let's see if that actually happens.

    Bought some roller shades for

    Bought some roller shades for the bathroom and they arrived in a mess. Looked like someone tried to squeeze them into a container that was way too small. Pieces just fell out when I opened it, didn't even get a chance to fully unpack. Reached out to customer service and all they suggested was to send parts for a DIY fix. But the damage was on both sides of the cartridge, so that's a no-go. No signs the package was mishandled during shipping, just poor quality control. I've bought from them before, but after this, I can't recommend. Check recent reviews before ordering.

    We’ve had quite the ordeal

    We’ve had quite the ordeal with our blinds. First, a motor went bad but they did send a replacement, which was nice. Then another blind stopped responding to the remote, and it’s 12 feet up! We’ve tried calling so many times, waiting on hold for over 45 minutes, only to get disconnected. Tried the chat too, but it was useless. Now we’re stuck with a blind we can’t use and can’t get help with. We’re just going to take it down and throw it away. This whole experience makes me rethink buying blinds online, even though the quality was decent.

    I ordered 5 faux wood

    I ordered 5 faux wood blinds, but they all came in the wrong size. Reached out to customer service, explained my issue. They asked for pictures, so I sent them over. Twice. They kept saying they'd get back to me but never did. Felt like they were just giving me the runaround. I'm going to contact Paypal for a refund. Honestly, just avoid this company.
