What you see is truly what you get. The images are clear and useful. James Allen doesn’t do what other online jewelers do by making things look better than they really are; they focus on being open. Service is great, but the policy could be better. I got two items for Christmas: an engagement ring and a tennis bracelet. The ring is perfect. The 2 ct tennis bracelet looked amazing in the photos, but the diamonds were hard to see in real life. I wanted to upgrade the bracelet and hoped to still get the Christmas discount I had earlier. The return process was simple, but upgrading meant I would lose the discount. I returned the bracelet. The agent tried to get me the discount, and I was grateful for her help. If not for that, I would have given 5 stars. I thought about going with 3 stars, but I was happy with the rest.
