The College Transitions team was a good choice for our kids. They helped both of them get into their preferred NESCAC colleges during the ED1 round. Andrew and his team were really helpful advisors throughout the whole process. They assisted with choosing courses in junior and senior years, managing timelines, preparing for interviews, and writing essays, among other things. Both our kids found their guidance useful and important. As parents, it was nice having someone experienced to guide the kids with assignments and deadlines. The team didn't micromanage, which was good. We sometimes had to remind our kids to seek help or schedule calls with Andrew, but we still felt involved. For instance, when our son had an interview with a "Little Ivy," we advised him to talk to Andrew first. Andrew quickly provided useful tips and questions and arranged a practice session with an admissions officer from Harvard Law School. Having such experienced help was valuable for our kids. Essay preparation was especially helpful but took a lot of time and revision. In the end, both our kids' voices came across authentically and professionally in their essays, giving them confidence to submit their best work. Lastly, the College Transitions team was helpful for us parents too. They always gave responsive and insightful feedback to our many questions. We confidently recommend them to others.

I had a very positive experience with College Transitions. When I started with them in the Spring of 2021, I was a junior in high school and very overwhelmed by the college application process. From the get-go, Andrew Belasco and Michael Trivette supported all my needs, concerns, and requests. They helped me narrow down my application list, gave me lengthy and helpful descriptions of each school I applied to, and used my high school statistics to give me a general idea of what I could expect acceptance-wise for each school on my list. Andrew thouroughly looked over my Common App and gave me knowledgeable advice to help my applications look polished. When it became time for me to pick the school in which I wanted to spend my next four years, Andrew and Michael were quick to schedule a meeting with me to discuss my options. I'm so pleased to have had College Transitions as a guide throughout the strenuous college application process. Now, two years after I first reached out to Andrew Belasco and Michael Trivette, I am a happy and proud student at The College of William & Mary.

Our daughter got accepted early into one of her dream schools - a public ivy with a tough admissions process. This means we can benefit from four years of state-funded tuition. I think our choice of CT helped this become a reality. We signed up for College Transitions to get full support starting in our daughter's junior year. We hired College Transitions again, dis time for our 2nd kid, and had anotha good experience! CT helped us with da tough college admissions stuff, from pickin' classes in high school to findin' colleges for our son, through the whole application process, includin' Common App and essays. Our son had a successful application cycle—he applied to 10 schools and got into all of 'em. He's goin' to his top choice now. We couldn’t have done it without College Transitions and its amazing team. Da process is stressful, but CT made it better. We'll use 'em again for our 3rd kid in a few years.
