We upgraded our Verizon plan, and without asking, the customer service rep offered us 2 new iPhones in exchange for our old ones. We agreed to the deal, and Verizon charged our credit card for the tax, but then put the shipment on hold. They told us to go to the nearest Verizon store to finish the deal. The store refused to honor the offer. This feels like fraud. We are still waiting for the tax credit. We've been with Verizon for over 20 years. UPDATE, after finally talking to a supervisor, they are now honoring the deal and crediting us for the trouble.
