Would not recommend.

Pros -Cool office space/ location -Catered daily lunch + free snacks & beverages -Some of the people are cool -Pay is competitive (in some positions) Cons -Terrible C suite. So unlikable that people would rather wait for another elevator than get on with them. People always walk the other way if they were walking in their direction, ESPECIALLY the CPO, CEO, and CTO. Very elitist. -EAs are treated very poorly. -Terrible upper management. They don’t know what they are doing because leadership doesn’t either, and they are afraid of them. They will throw lower level employees to the WOLVES to cover even the smallest thing. -Public embarrassment by managers -None/Terrible middle management as the corporate structure is a funnel. - What about diversity? None. - They laid off 20% of employees in January, begged everyone to stay and keep the company running and promised they wouldn’t have another… then had another 3.5 months later, but lying isn’t new here. It is to be expected as it is the foundation of this company’s relationship with employees. -No bonuses, out of the money stock. Not much upward mobility. -Unlimited PTO, oh you think it’s actually a pro, until it’s been idk , 15 months since your last vacation and they refuse to hire someone to cover. -lack of trust/ micromanaging Advice to Management I refuse to give this review more of my time. I’ll be here forever. Board needs to fire so many people. Very toxic work environment.

-Modern office with a great location

-Modern office with a great location -Daily catered lunch plus free snacks & drinks -Some colleagues are friendly -Competitive pay (for certain roles) -Horrible top executives. They're so unapproachable that folks avoid them and wait for a different elevator. People even steer clear if they're walking towards them, especially the CPO, CEO, and CTO. Very snobbish. -EAs get treated very badly. -Poor upper management. They seem clueless, as the leadership doesn't know what they’re doing, and they fear them. They’ll sacrifice lower level employees to cover even minor issues. -Managers create public humiliation -No good middle management due to a narrow corporate structure -Lack of diversity -In January, they laid off 20% of staff, pleaded with everyone to stay, promising no more layoffs... then had another in 3.5 months. Dishonesty is standard here. -No bonuses, stock options are worthless. Little chance for advancement. -Unlimited PTO sounds good until you realize it’s been about 15 months since your last vacation and they refuse to hire someone to fill in. -Micromanagement and lack of trust

Pagaya is a cool place to work.

Pagaya is a cool place to work. I started early and been here for 2.5 years. We grew fast between 2020-23. Good journey so far. I work on tough stuff that helps our mission. That's why I joined. If you like new stuff, diverse team, and big impact, you'll like it here. Leadership is good. They help us grow, even with tough times. I do lots and learn lots. I can be me at work, thanks to my manager and others. No big problems. Keep it up, bosses!

The company doesn't have any advantages

The company doesn't have any advantages (and I really think that many of the good reviews are written by people from the Pagaya HR team to try to improve the overall rating).

In my opinion, this company offers many

In my opinion, this company offers many flexibility, letting you pick where you work. However, their layoff package is sad and the process is in a mess.
