This is deeply concerning and disappointing for anyone relying on their services.
by Geraldine

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, which was acquired by HCA in 2018, has been placed 'in immediate jeopardy' by federal investigators for endangering patients during the same time period as this review. The hospital itself has admitted to not meeting the expected standard of care. This is deeply concerning and disappointing for anyone relying on their services.

Amazingly, Healthgrades lists our struggling hospital
by Teresa

Amazingly, Healthgrades lists our struggling hospital as one of the 50 best in the US. Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC (bought by HCA in 2018) during the same time as this rating, was put by federal investigators 'in immediate jeopardy' for putting patients at risk. The hospital also admitted it was not meeting the "standard of care we expect."
