I am on Linux and having this font server in my tool stack is great. Couldn't find anything better and I stopped searching. I hope that the payment methods will expand to include PayPal; up to this 4th year as a user, it is still credit card only.

This font system is super easy to use! The only problem I have is that some of my fonts don't show up right. Instead of seeing what they look like, there are just boxes. I get why that happens, but I hope they fix it someday.

Straightforward and effective, this tool is essential for anyone working on font design. I've relied on it for over four years now, and I can't imagine working without it. The value it brings is truly worth the investment.

Expressing appreciation for the Expressing appreciation for the

Expressing appreciation for the simplicity and intuitiveness of FontBase compared to a previous membership with Suitcase, which felt overwhelming. The only issue highlighted is a potential delay when opening InDesign and syncing fonts. To expedite syncing, the user activates the FontBase window first and then the InDesign file. While acknowledging that this delay may be related to InDesign rather than FontBase, there's a nostalgic mention of how FontBase seemed to work exceptionally fast initially.

FontBase is decent and not hard to use. I've tried the free version for a few years (in my spare time while working as a CD in an agency), and I've had the subscription for over a year now (switched to freelance work). The subscription is affordable and helps with everyday tasks. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because automatic font activation with the Adobe suite could be better. But it’s not a major issue. I've told others about the software and will continue to do so.

The company is good. The company is good.

The company is good. Their product works as they say it will, it's easy to use, and doesn't bother me when I'm working. I like that I can make my own Collections easily. The yearly subscription is fine for me, and the chance to get a lifetime license is nice too.

This company's tool be good. But I don't use it much. Like once every 18 or 24 months. So it doesn't make sense to pay subscription.

I've used this software for several years. I switched because FontExplorer X stopped functioning well on my new Mac. Comparing FontBase to FontExplorer, I still find the interface confusing (even after some time). Also, FontBase isn't always reliable. The software often has issues with retaining certain fonts (FB will suddenly disable them unexpectedly). The cost is reasonable, though.

Encountering issues with font Encountering issues with font

Encountering issues with font activations on MacOS 10.15.7 with Adobe CC, particularly with Font Book and InDesign. Fonts sometimes refuse to activate from the Font Book menu, and there are instances where a font in an InDesign document fails to activate automatically. Additionally, when a font is activated in one InDesign document, closed, and an attempt is made to print the book file to PDF, the font gets deactivated, necessitating the generation of the PDF with the document files kept open.
