I visited to buy glasses and sunglasses.
by Scott

I visited to buy glasses and sunglasses. The first pair wasn’t right, so I needed to exchange the frame. The manager said she’d be with me soon but got distracted by some contractors in the office while I waited at the front desk. After about 20 minutes, an assistant came to help me, but then she wanted to charge me again. The manager corrected this mistake. When I came to pick up my glasses, the manager was busy but helped me after I interrupted her. She gave me my glasses and said I was all set. I asked her to adjust them and noticed they were readers instead of my regular glasses. Luckily, I caught this before driving. The Augusta Maine manager shouldn’t be in charge; her assistant seems more capable. She seems a bit overwhelmed or out of touch, which could lead to serious mistakes. On a positive note, a helpful employee resolved the issue.

I visited the store in Springfield, Illinois
by Ginny Campbell

I visited the store in Springfield, Illinois and was surprised to find it crowded with only two opticians. When I inquired if I needed to check in, I was told to wait. After 30 minutes, I was informed that they were full and that I would need to make an appointment. The next morning, I called and spoke to optician Gayle, who was very rude and seemed annoyed by my questions. As a retired optician, I knew the information she provided was incorrect. I tried to schedule an appointment, but she told me the doctor would be leaving at 1:30, which was not true. The store needs major improvements. It has the potential to do well if it has staff that is helpful and polite. If I could rate this store a 0, I would. Very unsatisfied.

I have been a customer for several years now
by Anonymous

I have been a customer for several years now, and the quality of the frames they offer is not very good. I have had 4 pairs in the last year that have broken, lens don't stay in, nose pieces snap off, and arms come loose for example of some of the problems I have faced. The customer service has not been the best either, talking about other customers or being rude when handling issues. I spend ALOT on glasses and not being able to get things repaired when it's a defect with the glasses without paying a fortune to fix. I will be searching for a NEW place to take my business.
