The concept behind this digital business card is fantastic
by RL

The concept behind this digital business card is fantastic. It provides flexibility for adapting to changing business information and is eco-friendly, eliminating the need for physical cards. The Exchange feature is a valuable networking tool, allowing you to collect and share contact information effortlessly. However, there are occasional hiccups with the card's tapping functionality. This can be a bit frustrating, but the QR code option is a reliable alternative. Despite this minor drawback, the convenience, sustainability, and networking capabilities of the digital card make it a valuable asset for professionals who want to stay agile in their business interactions.

Initially, I appreciated the customizable
by Vanessa Hayes

Initially, I appreciated the customizable features of the dot profile. Unfortunately, they recently implemented an update that imposes a 35-letter limit on every section. This restriction is impractical as it hinders the entry of essential details such as business names, education, skills, and job titles. The recent changes undermine the platform's customization aspect. Despite reaching out to customer service, the response was to forward the concern to the development team for consideration. This limitation has prompted me to explore other platforms that allow more flexibility without compromising important information.

Affordable, easy, and cool way to
by Dan D

Affordable, easy, and cool way to make new contacts! I got my dot card the night before a conference. I was completly configured and set up in 5 minutes. The next day, people who came by my booth were really amazed with the "cool" factor of exchanging contact details with a tap of the phone. It was memorable for them and left a professional impression.

The dot thin is good but has issues.
by rz

The dot thin is good but has issues. When it's in the iPhone 15 Pro Max case, it barely works. I often have to take the case off for it to send to another phone. Even when it's outside the case, it still takes multiple tries to transfer the link. It only works about half the time, so people still have to scan the QR code.

The instructions for adding
by Mark G

The instructions for adding a contact to a tapped phone were confusing. I didn't realize I had to press "save contact," then press it again, scroll down, and press "create new contact" until another dot user showed when tapping their phone. This caused me to lose many connections.

Setting up was a breeze, yet
by RT

Setting up was a breeze, yet linking to phones is a bit tricky. It's simpler to use the Apple Wallet version or have someone scan your details from the QR code on the physical card.

Sharing information with others
by Jalen Hall

Sharing information with others is made easy with this platform. As someone running a youth robotics organization, I plan to provide these to my lead kids as well.

I am still finding the best spot
by Chantal

I am still finding the best spot on my Android phone, but it's already better than carrying a lot of paper cards. More effecient. More polished.
