I waited until after the noisy end-of-year period with all the fireworks to write this review. The fireworks were going off at odd hours, and our dogs were really scared. They didn't want to go outside anymore and even inside, they were anxious.
I brought the headsets along for walks, and for one dog, it works quite well. She’s able to do her short walks without much problem. Even when there's fireworks or thunderstorms at home, she stays calm. It helps her a lot! Less stress for her, and less stress for me.
The other dog has his ears pulled back, so it’s trickier to keep the headset on him, and he shakes it off. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for him.
They stayed at a quiet dog hotel during the heavy fireworks on New Year's Eve, and I’ll keep doing that. On the extreme nights, the headsets don’t really help, but for milder situations, I’d recommend them.
The company Doggie Hush sent a replacement headset after the first one went missing in the initial shipment. Communication was easy, and the delivery went smoothly.
