I won't shop at BestBuy again
by Anonymous

I won't shop at BestBuy again. It doesn’t matter what the item is (in this case, a TV). I'll search elsewhere for it. Any future TV purchases will be from Costco. Terrible experience with this company. Bought a Sony XR75X90L TV on April 17th, 2024 from Edmonton South Common with what was supposed to be a full 4-year warranty... but I didn’t get it. BestBuy consistently fails to deliver and meet promises, just like every other item I’ve bought here. I could have purchased the same TV from Costco with a full 2-year warranty through the store, which they claimed they would price match... but they didn’t. I ended up paying over $700 more for the TV and didn’t get the full coverage they promised. To make matters worse, they didn’t have the TV in stock, so I had to go to their shipping warehouse (which was hard to find) to pick it up before 4pm with the original receipt. Not only did I overpay for the TV and warranty, but I also learned they reduced the TV’s replacement value... meaning if something went wrong, I’d have to pay at least $400+ out of pocket for repairs or a replacement. If there were a 0-star option and a way to report BestBuy to the BBB for failing to meet their commitments... I’d choose it. One final note... the TV itself is fantastic. If you’ve ever owned a Sony, you know it’s among the best, and definitely the best I’ve seen and used. Just be sure to buy it from Costco as they stand behind their promises with a full protection warranty.

Best Buy's customer service is absolutely
by Sheila

Best Buy's customer service is absolutely horrendous! I ordered an ice maker, but their website managed to process two. I contacted customer service, who simply apologized and suggested I return the extra item. Really? Now I have to make multiple trips to fix their mistake. Getting assistance or canceling the extra order? Forget about it. Dealing with Best Buy's customer service is a nightmare!

I got a tv and wall moun
by Earl

I got a tv and wall mount @ Best Buy Willowbrook today. While my wife checked a vent hood, a Best Buy supervisor asked why my tv was on a specific cart, like I was stealing. I had my receipt. Never felt this way here. We make over 300,000 a year. We don't steal. Maybe 'cause we're a black couple. Bought here before but won't again. I'll tell everyone.

Awful service at the 2222 W Thunderbird store.
by Apache

Awful service at the 2222 W Thunderbird store. I asked for assistance 3 times, but each time I was brushed off. It seemed like they were only helping white people and LGBTQ+ folks. I’ll never shop there again and warned all my friends at ASU to avoid this place. DON'T SPEND YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR ENERGY ON THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY.

I got a 35$ gift card for buying a fridge.
by Wendy Chatterton

I got a 35$ gift card for buying a fridge. I used it for my granddaughter's early bday gift, a Nostalgia snow cone maker. They said it didn't work when we used it on July 4. I won't buy gifts at Best Buy anymore.
