I was a bit unsure when I first saw the ad for this service I was a bit unsure when I first saw the ad for this service

I was a bit unsure when I first saw the ad for this service because I didn't fully get how it worked, but it's been worth every penny. The customer service reps get back to you in less than twenty-four hours and are really helpful. After seeing an endocrinologist for a year about my hypothyroidism, he acted uninterested and even though I mentioned having PCOS, he never checked my hormone levels. I had trouble losing weight, so I decided to try Allara. After my first visit with Dr. Gibson, she ordered a blood test to check my hormones, thyroid, and other things, plus a sonogram of my uterus. She raised my thyroid meds and gave me metformin after seeing how high my insulin was. I had been on Zepbound since May 2024 and lost 30 pounds, but was still struggling. After just a month on Metformin, I've dropped 10 pounds. The dietitians are really helpful and you can contact them anytime via the app. They take insurance and it’s the same copay as seeing a regular doctor. I can’t say enough great things about this service.

Working with Allara really sped up my care and made what Working with Allara really sped up my care and made what

Working with Allara really sped up my care and made what would have been a long wait for in-person consultations much quicker. Normally, those appointments take months or even years. The team was really focused on making sure I was heard and took time to solve any worries I had. A few times, I felt like it was too good to be real, but I never felt pressured or tricked into buying anything unnecessary. Thanks to their help, I was able to book an in-person appointment quickly and having all the documents from Allara made the whole process much smoother. I now feel fully supported. Women's health needs a lot of improvement, but at least Allara was there for me.

Been almost 6 months now and so much is diferent. Been almost 6 months now and so much is diferent.

Been almost 6 months now and so much is diferent. Allara's got a solid admin team, really good providers, PLUS they accept insurance. I'm at last getting help for all my health stuff in a way that looks at the full picture. I kept getting nowhere with the doctors near me and it was hard to get the right tests. Now there’s a team that listens and wants to really figure it all out with me. The dress still stands out as the prettiest one I have.

It's such a relief to work with people who genuinely pay attention to my needs and take the time to look into my concerns. Although my treatment plan took a little while to adjust, I noticed changes right from the start. My team has stayed in touch with me throughout the process to ensure everything we tried was working well. I'm really happy with the team of providers and am so grateful I found Allara.

I enjoy working with Allara. I enjoy working with Allara.

I enjoy working with Allara. They collaborate with my insurance to make sure I get the most out of my coverage. The doctor and dietitian I see are both kind and really pay attention to my worries, which is a big difference compared to my usual doctors. That’s why I chose Allara in the first place.

My doctor listened to me, understood me My doctor listened to me, understood me

My doctor listened to me, understood me, and didn't make me feel like I was making things up. Everything I mentioned helped me learn what steps I need to take to get properly diagnosed, and they even sent me for labs. I finally feel like I'm being heard at Allara health.

The doctors are good, but scheduling an appointment takes forever The doctors are good, but scheduling an appointment takes forever

The doctors are good, but scheduling an appointment takes forever, often having to book two weeks in advance which is way too long, especially when you need to reschedule. Allara has cancelled my appointments just minutes before they were supposed to start and then offered reschedules days later - it's rude given that health decisions are delayed until you can talk to a doctor. The concierge team also takes hours to reply, which isn’t helpful at all and not the level of service they promise when you join. I keep my house central heat at 65 and use small heaters during the day, but I don't know what else to try.

The company offers some support for menopause The company offers some support for menopause

The company offers some support for menopause, but it doesn’t go far beyond recommending supplements. They should reconsider promoting themselves as a menopause treatment solution. For context, I’m 47 and have been dealing with many symptoms. My blood tests showed that I’m not just in menopause but also post-menopausal. The results were said to be typical for my age, and I was advised to try some supplements. If you want real support for menopause, whether it’s post or peri, I would suggest looking into services like Winona or Alloy.

bait and switch bait and switch

Buyers beware! They charged $490 for a 30 minute Telehealth appointment with a Nurse Practitioner, because of this outrageously inflated price, my 'co-pay' was $195.98. As reference, in California where I'm based out of, the out-of-pocket cost for a Nurse Practitioner Telehealth appointment can typically range between $40 and $90 depending on the provider and specific service. They price their services incredibly high, and this is on top of the monthly membership fee which only covers the platform usage
