Valuable aid in the tech scene Being new to Philadelphia, I discovered this service just when I thought there was none. Applying online was fairly simple, and the whole process went faster than I imagined. I really hope this program stays around, and I’m very thankful it’s here.

I am extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at TruConnect. The representative I spoke to did not provide accurate information about my data package, falsely claiming I had unlimited data. Now, my data has run out, and I feel deceived by their false promises. This is unacceptable, especially since I just signed up yesterday. TruConnect needs to improve the training of their customer service agents and hire individuals who can speak and understand English fluently. The level of service I received was horrendous, and I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience. They should take this feedback seriously and work on improving their customer support to avoid such frustrating situations in the future.

In my experience

In my experience, I found that reaching out to TruConnect via email was more effective than calling them. I received a prompt response, and they quickly resolved my issue regarding my Amazon Prime account that came with the tablet I purchased through ACP approval. Now, I have access to Prime Video, Prime Music, and even overnight delivery, all for just $12 a year! It's definitely worth the investment. While I'm not a huge fan of the phones or tablet they offer, I'm satisfied knowing I can upgrade to something better in the future. Overall, I'm pleased with the customer service and the added benefits of my subscription.

Truconnect is one of the best LIFELINE PROVIDERS… which poor, sick, and elderly people really require since those in power just don’t care about aging! They just don’t get it because they don’t NEED WI-FI?!?!? Anyway, we MUST HAVE the ACP PROGRAM back!!! So we can keep truconnect on our phones, not just for free phones and texts but also for FREE INTERNET! And international calls too for folks here who still have ties abroad because this is the story of AMERICANS AFTER ALL! Amen… and thank you truconect!

I had an awful experience with this company.

I had an awful experience with this company. The salesman took $130 from me, and when I reported it to customer service and spoke with Eddie, the supervisor, he promised to file a complaint. I’m not sure if he actually did anything though. The salesman asked to use my bathroom, and when he left, my money was gone. I feel so upset and helpless. I didn’t have my glasses on, so I couldn’t see his name. I can’t believe this happened. Cecilia Morphis

Trueconnect has been a true blessing for me.

Trueconnect has been a true blessing for me. After losing my job last year, I struggled to pay for a cell phone. Since June 1, 2024, I've had Trueconnect, which allowed me to apply for jobs again. Last Saturday, June 15, I had 2 interviews and got called for a working interview on June 17. If I didn't have Trueconnect, I wouldn't have been able to get those interviews. I hope I get the job!

I got a SIM card from this company for my phone plan, and the service was quite quick and easy. I tried other low-income phone services like Assurance and Safelink, and they were really bad. With this carrier, everything went smoothly, and once I inserted my new SIM card and downloaded their app, my phone service and new number were ready in no time.

Website is easy to use and the staff are very helpful. I decided to leave "Safelink" and moving to your company has been a good choice. I’ve been dealing with issues since May '24' and although I tried to stay patient, I had to make the change for safety reasons in California. I am excited for our future connection.

They made the whole process easier and smoother, no need to go through complicated steps. I didn’t have to download any documents, and approval only took about 5 to 10 minutes. The only thing that could be improved is switching to esim instead of using a card, which would eliminate the waiting time for service.
