Once had issues, Josh helped me. Now happy. Better than Bark and Pinwheel. Control my daughter's phone completely. Teens not smart, easily influenced. Bark couldn't protect, Troomi can.

Had the phone for a month.

Had the phone for a month. Calls, texts, and safe web work as told. But tracking is a mess. It worked fine for about a week. Then, for the last 2 weeks, it shows my kid hasn't left home. There's an update causing trouble with the phone. Troomi says GPS works alone, not with phone service. If this tracking problem isn't solved, I might leave. Troomi support is friendly, but their 'fixes' don't fix nothing.

My parents got me a Troomi phone, and it’s okay, but there are some annoying glitches. They keep adding new features, but they don’t always get it right. Their new app store? It’s hard to use. Once they tried to make it easier to download apps, but it just doesn’t work. Downloads randomly stop, and if it does download, it disappears in a few seconds. You should just get a Bark phone, it already has all the apps you need for the parents to decide. Troomi blocks a lot of apps like Roblox, even though they added the Google Play store. Most apps don’t work properly. I asked them if they could make it so parents can choose, but they said no for Instagram. Bark has that feature already, and it works just fine.

We were one of the first Troomi customers. I like the product, but recently, I've had trouble getting in touch with customer service. They replaced our phone because the microphone broke on the original (it's 2 years old). We can't activate the new phone, and the parent controls don't work on the old one now. I've tried their website, email, and phone. When I call during their business hours, I wait in the queue, then get a message saying no one can help. I left a message and got no response. I'm really sad because I've spent the last two years telling everyone to sign up. Now, I'm looking for another provider.

We’ve had Troomi for almost a year now. About a month ago, they released an update that stopped some phones from being able to make calls. They didn’t notify their customers, so I found out only when my son couldn’t reach home. I’ve been working with them for a month to fix the phone, but they can’t receive calls due to the outage, and they only respond to emails every few days with a generic reply. They told me they sent a trigger to my son’s phone to reset it and get it working. But the trigger never arrived, and I’ve been waiting for help since January. So, now we’re looking for other options.

Troomi is a bit disappointing.

Troomi is a bit disappointing. The phone didn't work for three days! My child couldn't use social media or turn off safe browsing and only certain apps were available. Plus, only one phone number per contact. And the phone doesn't even work without wifi! Customer service is bad too. Troomi has lots of problems and costs too much. I returned my Troomi phone in one week.

We thought we were doing everything right, watching our child’s texts and keeping track of the phone, but he somehow found ways to get past all the safety features. For months, he was surfing the internet without us knowing. We honestly thought we were being very careful. We really regret getting a Troomi phone. We feel so foolish.
