I am shocked by how Thai Airways handled
I am shocked by how Thai Airways handled my situation during one of the hardest times in my life. My sister is seriously ill, and I had no choice but to cancel my trip to be with her. Instead of offering any support or even some basic kindness, this airline made everything harder and added stress to an already awful time.
What made this even worse was the constant back-and-forth between Thai Airways and the travel agent, World Air Fares. Both sides seemed more interested in blaming the other than helping me, leaving me stuck without clear answers. This constant passing the blame felt cruel, especially considering the emotional pain I was already dealing with.
Even after giving all the required medical documents and following every instruction, I got nothing but confusing responses and unclear information about a simple tax refund. Thai Airways first said they needed confirmation from the travel agent to process it, then shifted the responsibility back to them, causing unnecessary delays.
The lack of respect for my situation and the absence of any effort to ease my pain is unacceptable. This process has made an already hard time even worse. Instead of feeling cared for, I feel like my struggles were ignored by a company more focused on strict rules than showing basic humanity.
Thai Airways has shown no compassion, no responsibility, and no care for its customers in real moments of need. This experience has left me feeling upset, and I strongly recommend anyone thinking about using them to reconsider if they want clear answers, professionalism, or any sense of empathy.
