Ordered a rug on November 24, 2023

Ordered a rug on November 24, 2023, and was informed via email that the estimated ship date would be between December 15, 2023, and December 22, 2023. However, when I called on December 17, 2023, I was informed that the rug had not yet shipped but would be on its way in a few days as it was currently on a truck. Surprisingly, there was no email communication in the interim, but immediately after my call, I received 8 emails. Upon checking today, the status still reads, "Current Status: Item waiting to ship." It seems like a dubious practice, akin to a scam, where they collect funds upfront, backorder the items, and wait for bulk shipments to secure cheaper pricing. It's disconcerting to discover that they might not even have these rugs, and the suspicion arises that this might not be a USA-based company but rather a subpar drop shipper that fails to honor purchases. The continuous loop of promises until months later is frustrating, and based on my experience, I would advise against wasting your time with them. My order number is #WS5974567.

I am certain that this was a flaw in your system, as I took great care to ensure everything was accurate before finalizing the order. In an attempt to rectify the issue, I called your 800 number, enduring a lengthy wait before a representative finally answered. Unfortunately, the representative was unable to assist or correct the problem. What should have been a straightforward two-minute correction has stretched into a frustrating 20-minute ordeal.
