Working at Pathward has been a gratifying experience. From the start, the cooperative atmosphere has promoted development and innovation, making each day interesting and satisfying. The work-life balance flexibility allows me to handle work tasks alongside personal needs, and Pathward's generous PTO shows their real concern for staff welfare. What really makes Pathward stand out, though, is its people; the supportive and easy-to-talk-to leaders, combined with a team-focused attitude, create a space where everyone feels appreciated and motivated. If you want a job that emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and kindness, Pathward is certainly the right choice.

Terrible, terrible company.

Terrible, terrible company. This company is corrupt and I'm not joking. You can see my months-long ordeal with them. I have 12k in an account that includes my tax refund and stimulus payments from this year, and they won’t let me move it to my bank or take it out.

PTO & Be-Well days are good

PTO & Be-Well days are good, but health insurance could be better. Day-to-day work stays stable. IT problems happen often. Bad management makes good workers leave. Pay could improve.

The company offers remote work

The company offers remote work, with recent focus on employee training. Decent PTO and 401k match. Many growth chances. Senior team under C-Suite is trusted and knowledgeable. HR was quite disorganized, but seems improved lately. Hope they keep this up. Some executives lack deep business understanding for effective leadership and don't always empower lower levels enough.

This is a company and another company I’m talking about. I’ve been calling them since February about my money for them to send Navy Federal Credit Union a letter to check which bank account they sent my money to and they act dumb so I’m going to file a police report. I will get my lawyer involved and I’m going to sue you guys because you are playing games that I don’t have time for. Games are for kids but if that’s how you do business, it’s fine. I’m not stressin. You guys owe me $701.10. I just want my money. Once I get it from you, Navy Federal Credit Union, and the person who did my taxes, I’ll go to the news and tell the world about this. It’s fine, I’m not complaining, just letting you know. Thanks.

I, Sonya Tarpley am writing this review to share that Pathward, the issuer of Porte Visa deposit account, let $200 disappear from my account even after I quickly told them about the fraud on May 27, 2025 through my CashApp and sent an email on May 28, 2025. Porte Visa said they looked into it but made me wait 2 weeks only to say they found no proof of fraud or account/device issues. This felt like they didn't believe me and sided with the thief instead of helping me get my money back. $200 might be small for some, but for me, a hardworking single person, it feels like losing $20,000. I’m very unhappy and upset with how they treated my case.

Overall, the company needs to focus more on ethical practices and transparency to improve its work environment.

I contacted this company about fraud on my daughter's prepaid card. Sadly, my address wasn’t updated, and I can’t change it unless I send my government ID and social security card by email or fax to someone I don’t know. They said they will start the dispute and send a check to the old address. USPS doesn’t forward financial mail, so my daughter won’t get her stolen funds. I would give 0 stars if possible.

You can never reach an agent. If you lack your card number, forget about talking to anyone. I have $30.00 stuck because of this company and cash app. The only reason they got one star is that there isn't an option for zero stars. That's the only reason they received that one star. I am unhappy with this place. Terrible, truly terrible service. Everything about this place is just plain awful.
